The Walking Dead

My thoughts....

This season had its ups and downs but that was probably the best episode of the series so far.

The Governor got off easy in my opinion. Anything short of weeks/months of torture was too easy for him.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into it but I don't think walkers would've unstrapped the baby from the car seat. I'm not saying she's alive but at a minimum it appears as though somebody took her out of the car seat. Walkers would have just eaten her in the car seat and there would've just been up pile of goo left.

I have no problem with the way Rick handled it. I'm fairly certain the Governor had no intentions of allowing them to leave peacefully. The only mistake I think he made was walking down there to talk to them in the first place.

I'm fine with an episode or two but as someone else said I hope they don't waste half a season getting the group back together.

Does anyone know what the hell that dead rat on the wall Tyreese found was all about?

They left that open for future episodes. Presumably, it's the same person who was luring walkers in with rats by the fence. I'm guessing it's Bob. Who else could it be?

That was a hell of an episode.

So the groups are divided up now:

Bus group:
Glenn
Extras

Team Maggie:
Maggie
Bob
Sasha

Team Daryll:
Daryll
Beth

Team Rick:
Rick
Carl

Team Tyreese:
Tyreese
Children

Team Michonne:
Michonne

Team Lilly:
Lilly
Sister?
Extras?

Team Carol:
Carol

You would think after the farm house, they would have established a rally point. Never heard a mention of it though...

I'm assuming Lilly is dead as well? And her lesbo sister?

We didn't see them die so I'm assuming they're still running around somewhere.

But I don't know if they were just there for the gov's side story. I figured they'd end up running into one of the prison groups.

I thought when Daryl was ordering them to get everyone to the bus it sounded like there was an evacuation plan in place. Didn't he say something like "you know what to do" to one of them?

Also when the bus took off Maggie and Sasha didn't seem overly concerned about where it was going. They said, "we'll figure it out." I took that to mean "we'll figure out how to get to the rally spot."

I could be wrong. There is a good chance the next episode starts off with them already meeting up.

Well after watching the Talking Dead it sounds as if any rendezvous point either wasn't planned or didn't work out. According to Kirkman the group is scattered.

Lol never, Rick's a beech.

Rick was shot in the leg and bleeding so when he was fighting with the gov he was at a great disadvantage.

Maybe it's just me but I've liked rick since day one. Lincoln is a great actor, IMO.

Also on the subject of lizzy. When she said we should go get guns I was like oh this is a bad idea. Well was I wrong or what lol. She is turning out pretty hardcore.

I like Rick as well.

I'm pretty sure Lilly and her lesbian sister are still alive.

It looked like a dissection board that someone was working on. Not sure where they were going with that.

I was under the impression that they had a rally point and I think somebody got Judith, I dont' think she's dead.

And the Gov was shot in the arm. If Rick was too hurt to fight he should have just shot the Gov as he walked by. Plus he sucker punched him. Lol

The person feeding the rats to the walkers had to be Bob. He had a medic background in the army. The dissected rat that Tyrese found almost certainly confirmed that.

The only problem with that is, the hand of the person doing it was white. Iirc

Should've been the way last season ended IMO. Good episode though, and Gimple seems to have regained the momentum and has the show finally moving forward.

I think Judith is alive. Pretty obvious cliffhanger IMO. Pretty sure they showed a 5-8 year old get eaten and then basically executed, probably would've done something similar if she was dead (guess it's entirely possible that happens in the next half).

You're reaching now, go sit in the corner. :)

I doubt it. Bob's main problem is that he's an alcoholic, he's not crazy.

That's the same thought I had watching the episode, was that it should have happened last season. I think the kids probably moved her and that's why they ran one direction and Tyrese was like, "no it's this way". They ran back into the building to get Judith.

Also, we're to assume Tyrese still doesn't know about Carol?

This sneak peek of TWD Robert Kirkman said is straight out of the comic book.

How am i reaching? Thems facts sista! Both were shot, Rick smacked the Gov pretty good without him seeing it coming. Then he got on top of the Gov hitting him repeatedly. Then the Gov broke his face. If it had showed the Gov shove a finger in to the bullet hole then I'd agree. Man crushes get beat up sometimes, it's ok. Somebody hug Coug. Lol

Why was the seat covered in blood?

I still think killing an infant on screen is too much for the perceived sensibilites of a TV audience. Plus Judith didn't make it out of the prison in the comics and they seem be trying to get that lined back up.

Additionally, it's hard to have babies on a TV show like this where only about a year and half has passed since the first episode. It's like Walt on Lost, the actors age faster than the story.
