Gimple tied up all of the loose ends left behind by Glen Mazzera. The Governor was made full and killed off. The prison arc is over and the survivors move on to new things.

AMC handled that in only way that they could. They could not have shown an infants death on TV either from a walker or from TG's group. They had ti show the blood and insinuate what took place.

To be honest when she first showed up I didn't know the actress who played her was in her 20s.

They could have showed it Hitchcock style. Just show walkers approaching the car seat and the kid crying then nothing as you hear eating sounds.

Carl has been through a lot and been forced to grow up with a stone cold heart. He would make a great future leader that has experienced everything as it developed.

As for the fight. Rick had a gunshot in him. Not sure I'd say it was straight up.

Rick got shot in the leg, Gov got shot in the arm. Even fight lol
