The Walking Dead

I bet the governor wishes he would have held off on burning Woodbury down.

Also did he just walk in a circle for a year? He walked forever and is somehow close to the prison.

Maybe that's why he looked so surprised when he saw Michonne and Hershel.

"Holy crap, I really suck at navigation!"

Lol nicely done.

Martinez might be the dumbest guy in the ZA. Hey I know all the ish you did but come join my camp. I would have shot the governor right in the face when he was in the pit.

Who was cutting off the heads of the various bodies encountered by Martinez's hunting expedition? They were putting signs on the dead bodies to pass judgement on them as a "Liar", "Murderer", et al.

At the very least Herschel is killed off next week, IMO.

As long as Rick/Daryl survive I'm good. Also don't want to see the governor go either.

The guy who lived in the cabin. Pretty sure the soldiers might have raped and killed his family and that sent him over the top. At least that's how I saw it.

Also I've seen some speculation by fans that the walkers the Governor came across while trying to leave were the Woodbury people he killed at the end of last season.

I thought they implied on the The Talking Dead that the Governor had done the sign stuff.

Yeah especially after he left him in the middle of the night high and dry. If you believed him an unstable psycho before, do you really think he's not going to hold it against you that you left him to die?

Looks like they are going to wrap up the Guv's story a little closer to the comics after all. Tank and everything.

I wonder if beth plays Lori's role while watching little Judith.

Apparently the signs were made by the husband/father of the lady walker and her kid walker in thew cabin. He had killed those men because they had r=lied, raped his family, and killed them.

Funny thing is that each of those things written on the signs an dinned on the decapitated people, were acts that TG had committed while at Woodbury.

TG was trying to be amoral man and the signs may have registered in his minds and viewers minds, that he is everyone one of those guys.

I'm wondering the same thing; with the introduction of the Lilly character, I have to think it ends about the same.

If they do follow the comic, that's going to be tough to watch. I mean I know it won't be exactly, but even the implication will be pretty rough.

If it's 98% posturing and talking, ending with Gov screaming charge I will not be a happy camper. Though I'm thinking that's what will happen.

Mid season finales have been big every year so far (except S1 since it didn't have a mid season break). I expect some ess-H-eye-T to hit the fan.

Just watching TTD and in the sneak peak of next week TG says something along the lines of "We need to move... now. They're gonna realize their people are gone and start getting ready for whatever's next". So they basically gave away that when he's outside the prison he either kills or kidnaps somebody.

My first thought was that he shoots Herschel but he'd have to kill Michonne too and I don't think that they'll kill her off. So my guess would be that somebody walks up on him while he's standing there and he kills them.

He could also just be creating another lie to motivate his group. Telling them he was attacked and had to defend himself or something along those lines.

I swear they stole this idea from a Survivor episode.\

I picked up on the same thing.

In the comics he fed them all kinds of crap to motivate his people into attacking the prison.

I was reading today that some people surmise that Scott Gimple wanted to write the story as close to the comics as he could. However, to get to where he wanted to go with the story, they had to go back and re-work The Governor. Gimple and Kirkman felt that Glen Mazzera made TG too nice and too weak. They felt that they had to go back and kind of re-create him and give him a bit of depth in order to make him look the psycho that they needed him to be in order to get the story line back on track.

The thing is I've read the comics (up to about issue 70) but its been about 4 years and I literally read all 70 over the coarse of a couple of nights. So I remember all the major points but have forgotten most if the details.
