The Walking Dead

A couple of thoughts after this episode:

1. Will they find out what that radio signal in the car was that lead to the car crash or will it never be mentioned again?

2. Chainsaws would be too loud. They'd attract too many zombies.

3. My weapon of choice would be a sling-shot with bayonets on the end for closer range. :salute:

My dad and I actually paid to go see Land Of The Dead at the theaters and that's the last Romero movie I saw. The movie itself wasn't bad but the ending just made you walk out of the theater after it was over and go WTF! The whole "walkers just wanting to be a part of something" message was dumb as hell.

They will follow up on the radio signal I'm sure later on. My guess is if they drove close enough to a radio signal and then suddenly hit a huge herd of zombies then it can't really be much of a refuge and/or that WAS the refuge.

Yes, it will. I don't think they would have bothered to show it as the climax of the trailer and put it in an episode if they weren't going somewhere with it.

I have my suspicions on who that was on the radio and what they are possibly referring to.

After taking down a tree with a 14" SYKCO blade yesterday, I think I've found my weapon of choice for a zombie apocalypse.

Earlier today My older son & I watched the episode where Lori dies, Maggie is traumatized, Carl becomes man and Rick loses his mind ... VERY taxing episode

I thought for a while he was going to off her, but I guess telling her to take a hike is the next best (worst?) thing.

So basically Rick divorced Carol for undermining him as a father, but did it in a way that he keeps his stuff (the group).

Chris Jericho...who knew?!?!

Lizzie is crazy

I don't think Lizzie is crazy I just think she's young and is still having trouble with death. Her thought is well at least they're something else and not "completely dead". She doesn't realize that there are in fact things that are worse than being dead.

And Darryl is gonna be pissed.

I wasn't expecting him to boot Carol to the curb either. Daryl was the first thing that popped into my mind as Rick was telling her to take a hike.

Here's the real question: Is Rick going to tell the group what really happened?

"Chattanooga Bob" was referenced by Chris on The Talking Dead tonight and I hadn't seen it and wanted to look up the original video and see what he was talking about..

I love how Chris says thank you for representing my home state of TN in a positive way. :)

It wasn't Carols call to make, but that was Ricks call to make. Dude you did nothing for 6-8 months except play farmer Bob, now you step back in to being top dog? I wish Daryl would shoot him right in the face, he is by far my least favorite character.

A counsel was put into place for such decisions. She shouldn't have acted unilaterally, she should have consulted the counsel. "Carol bring me your torch your tribe has spoken. You will have a chance to get back into this game!"
:)

Rick has always been in charge he was just on leave.

My first line helps my Rick making the decision argument. I'm not sure the counsel would have voted that way, Hershel and Daryl in particular. Might have been a blindside. Lol FTR I would have done the same thing, if it could possibly save everyone, they would die. Plus they already would have been dead by now anyway.

Ok fine. I'll offer up the results of he decision as an argument that not only did she act unilaterally but she made the wrong decision. The virus still spread and all Carol accomplished was taking away whatever closure Tyrese could have had with his girlfriend before she died.
