The Walking Dead

My fiance and I were just talking about this the other night and she came up with one that I had never heard. She said what if this has all been in Rick's head during his coma and when he wakes up, he's still in the hospital and none of it was real? It would probably never happen but that would still be crazy and something that would seem to be right up Frank Darabont's alley. I would definitely give it more credence if he were still attached. As it stands, I see no way for them to end it besides kill off every character. Ain't nobody got time for happy endings.
Well, that'd be just about the most original plot concept ever.

The only possible way I could see a slightly positive ending is if the zombies begin to die off. They can't live forever. The task, I suppose, would be to outlive the zombies and then you're good (relatively). I can see it reaching the point where the zombies eventually die off (for the most part) and Rick is the only one left standing. Of course, that's not very happy, is it?

Everyone is already infected. I don't see how there can be a happy ending. Once you die naturally eventually whenever it is the outbreak will be back when old people start dying. I don't think you can hand a cure out to every single person.

I'd say that has about a .000000000000000000000001% chance of happening, and I would hate them forever for pulling such a cliched ending.

Yeah but the problem is anyone who dies ends up a walker unless their head was destroyed. The walkers should die off, but more keep being made.

The only hope would be for someone to find a cure or they find someone immune to kill off the infection. We don't know how many people are still living, which I hope the spinoff deals with, so eventually if things keep going, the human race is facing extinction.

As far as the ending, it will be interesting how/when they end this, since the comic is still going and probably isn't going to end anytime soon. It will likely outlast the show.

If I had to guess, if the spinoff is successful, they'll probably end the story of Rick and the original show with an open ending, and continue the overall story of the world dealing with the outbreak in the spinoff.

I understand that tonight's episode will be an emotionally tough one. We may lose a regular cast member tonight.

Hadn't heard that but I heard the next two episodes are set to be "killer".

If a regular goes would it be Herschel? Beth?

This could go so many directions. Michonne is sensitive to noise which makes me think something's up with her and she is rubbing faces with the baby.

Those pigs are probably infected with the new virus and rick just got splattered in the face with their blood.

My guess is she lost her child when all this started, and hearing and holding the child brings back memories. No way she has been bitten or scratched.

Didn't know if maybe she's sick or something the way she was acting. The noise seemed very exaggerated when she said does she always cry like that like her senses were heightened.

Sick maybe, when she was holding her it seemed like it brought back memories.

Who was feeding rats to the walkers?

Who burned the suspected sick people?

I am guessing it was some of the new people to the group.

Yea, maybe setting up to be another massive herd intrusion like at the farm at the end of season 2.

At first I was wondering if maybe Michonne had a kid that was killed, but then I think of her annoyance at Judith crying. And the way she was holding her when Beth got puked on. Out to the side from her armpits. It didn't come off as someone that had kids. It came off the way someone acts when they hold a baby for the first time.

I think she just sees babies as a liability. They can't defend themselves and it will only lead to heartache.

She keeps herself emotionally blocked off from everyone. Maybe she was just having a moment where she let her feelings get the best of her. It was right after Beth gave her the speech about everyone caring about her.

But when she looked at the baby up close, her lip started quivering and the way she held it was a very loving way.

Damn that's a lot of zombies!

Did it sound like, "the governor has *static* survived *static* alive" on the radio during the preview? Or am I hearing things?
