The Walking Dead

I liked this episode. The dialogue between Rick n the gov was pretty intense. You could see the lies coming from the gov and Rick seeing right thru it. Showed there is still a little humanity left in people, but its fading. Nice set up for a three episode show down. I expect deaths in the last two episodes. Then, on to the tombs....and hopefully the hunters

I'm so glad they ditched the crazy Rick crap and brought him back as the true leader. He definitely saw right through the Gov. I have to admit though, they did a good job with the suspense and making you yell at the screen to Rick, "He's got a gun Rick!". Tonight may have seem to some as a filler episode but if you agree with that you're not picking up the subtleties of the characters. Tonight was a defining revelation into who these people really are.

What happened tonight:
Rick is no moron and still has his game, and can accurately read people.
The gov is crazy and only wants revenge.
Andrea, without 100% assuredness, chose her side(Rick's)
Milton realized that his boss is cold blooded and petty.

I've been a fan of this season. It's been interesting throughout and has had alot more going on than either of the previous two.

That said....tonight was one of the biggest "filler" episodes they've had in quite some time.

It was a setup episode, not a "filler" IMO. The next few episodes should be really interesting.

I doubt Carl dies but who knows. My list goes

The gov
Melton
Morgan
Carol

I've changed my mind on Glenn, I think he eats it next season

I rewatched it last night and it was better the second time.

As far as Rick not being a moron, I don't think he's a moron but he's leaving the door cracked by even considering The Governor's offer. At this point he has to know the Governor wants him dead regardless of whether he gives up Michonne or not.

I think he does "know" this to be true. He said pretty much exactly that to Herschel. Part of him wants to believe that the Governor might actually be a man of his word, or that at least there may be another alternative besides an all-out war.

My dislike of Andrea has surpassed my previous dislike of Carl. Still not up to Lori dislike though.

Andrea's just being a dumbass. She's mostly ignoring everything Rick's group has told her in hope that the Gov will just leave them alone. Previews of next week's episode makes it looks like she's finally catching up to reality.

I have not read the comics on this nor have I read any spoilers, but I have my own idea of how things are going to break. It should be interesting.

I really don't see how anyone can ca this episode "filler". It definitely advanced the story.

Merle is going to eat it before season end by doing something Merlish when it goes down (like an ill-timed move at the Gov)

Without a doubt Merle eats it maybe this week or next. There will be a character that dies that rattles the group according to rumor and what the producers have leaked. Maybe Herchel?

I bought the series on iBooks today. Not bad at all but I think I'll buy volume 2 in hard back. I've read a few separate episodes here and there. The artwork is really good.

The guy playing Herschel is probably getting tired of hopping around on one leg.

Comixology app is the way to go. Wait until they are on sake for either 99¢/issue or 4.99/vol.

I looked at all of the credits for the rest of the season's shows and all of the main characters are given credits for each of the remaining episodes. They probably have to do that to not give things away.

He wears a green sock. CGI.

Lennie Jones credits were up early though. It showed him for episode 12 and 16.

The actress that played(s) Lori is still listed in the opening credits, and in the DirecTV guide info.

Morgan is in the season finale.

Sweet!

If I had to guess.... Merle is kind of a given to die this season with Herschel, Beth, Carol possibly being runner-ups.

I don't think Carl will die because that would definitely break Rick completely. I don't think Carol will die because her and Daryl make a good story.

I personally see Merle dying to save Daryl. Hershel, Herschel's other daughter, being the other 2 to go. Maybe Carol, her combined with Merle's death could push Daryl to a very dark place. Oh and the 2 white dudes in Tyreses group. With Milton, Tyrese, and the black chick joining the group.

To be honest, they could kill everyone but Daryl, Michonne, Merle, Glenn, Maggie, and Carol and I'd be ok. Not gonna happen but still.

If I could pick 3 to die it would be.

Andrea, honestly she's proven who she is, first with Shane then the governor. I would never trust her again, just wait till the next power hungry dude comes along.

Rick, I'm so tired of hearing him growl his way through an episode. It's getting way to over the top for him, as far as how he's being played by A.L.

Carl, take off that damn hat and you can live.

If Carl removes the hat, then Herschel's other daughter. I don't care to learn her name as she I'd basically furniture. Aside from the random American Idol auditions.

Sorry you dont like him but Rick is the main character. He won't be dying.

Sadly I don't see how Beth survives a war.
