The Walking Dead

I thought they were just good until 4? I admit I don't follow that closely

Breaking Bad's highest rating is 2.98, this past season. Mad Men's is 3.54 which was this past season premiere.

TWD's lowest is 4.71 in season 1, with its highest being 12.93 for the Midseason premiere last week.

Actually Hell on Wheels gets just as good of ratings as BB and MM.

Hell on Wheels is a great show.

What's with all the mystery though, why hide the face of the driver? Even if it is that girl from the wall how much do we all really care? I couldn't even tell you her name in the show. She pulls absolutely no weight and is not a pivotal character.

To make us wonder whether it was Andrea or not.

the driver was armored up since they would be driving a bunch of zombies into a field and then letting them loose. Andrea says she wants to see the other group and then she's going to go zombie bomb their place? Very doubtful

I have seen some wild theories that say that it was Andrea and that she did it to break up the gun fight, knowing that Rick's group could take care of the walkers and would make her look trustworthy in the Governor's eyes. The question then would be, "how would she know the way to the prison?"

A plausible theory. Maybe she found a map or plans in the govs office

Followed the Gov perhaps

I don't see how that could even be considered for 3 reasons.

1. The most obvious. Why would she drive a truck full of zombies into her former groups home while the gov and his cronies shoot up the place. She said she wants to meet with them and the Gov told her heck no.

2. They left without her. That's where the Gov was when she was asking the girl at the wall and Milton when he said the Gov is on a run for supplies.

3. The Gov told her earlier in the show that he wasn't going to do anything to Rick's group as long as they left Woodbury alone.

Some others on another TWD thread on a other board, answered those. I am not saying that they are correct. I am only giving their answers to those questions.

1. She knew that TG was going to attack Rick's group. She is trying to bring the two warring groups together, thinking that they could be one happy group. She believed that a truck full of walkers would not pose a substantial problem to Rick's group amd by parking the truck between the two groups, she was blocking the guns sights on each side amd would force a cease fire.

2. This is where I have a problem. How would she know where to go? Some think that it was Milton, who drove the truck. Either way, how did the person know where to go?

3. That response was irrelevant. Andre knew that if the others were lying to her about where TG was, that TG was lying to her about not attacking Rick.

Just adding what some others thought.

Milton strikes me as spineless - I highly doubt he was the truck driver.

And didn't the driver of the truck take shots at Michonne (at nearly point blank range) while sprinting past Michonne near the bus?

I don't see how they could come to that conclusion.

1. Parking a truck in a big-ass open space is going to block lines of fire?

2. Also, she missed the several months when Rick's group became a functioning unit with tactics. She was running around with Michonne. For all she knows it's just Rick and Daryl.

3. It isn't just a truck full of walkers. 2 gates were destroyed which lets in nearby walkers. They had 3 layers of security. Now they're down to 1. And with all the shots fired it probably would draw a fresh herd of walkers to the prison.

But I do get a kick out of that person's logic. Want to make friends with your enemies? Kill some walkers together.

I didn't say it was Andrea, but it looked like, to me, they shot that scene to try to make people think it was possible. Hence the focus on the womanly build, face covered, shooting at Michonne.

See, I don't see a focus on a womanly build. It was a woman driving. Face covered could be incase they get too close to the walkers. And why would Andrea shoot at Michonne? If she wanted to kill her she had her chance in the mid season finale.

I just don't see the big deal with who was driving. I don't see any attempt to make people think it could be Andrea.

i just rewatched the episode from a week and a half ago (on demand), and in a preview shot it showed Tyreese saying hed do anything to contribute, and then it showed his group standing in the woods with weapons. he had a hammer in his hand. im guessing his group makes a return next episode. they might have heard the gun fire and might be heading back to the prison

That sounds plausible.

They'll be back sooner rather than later. 1) Tyrese is an integral character in the comics 2) why introduce them just to run them off for good? They've played no significant role since they first appeared.

watched the first two episodes last night

I lol'd at Andrea's little speech that miraculously had the citizens of Woodbury heading back to their homes with peaceful looks on their faces.

That was cheesy. The football forum could have used her a few times this past season.

I can't stand that guy. I literally hate every scene that he's in. Especially the one's that are just him and Andrea. They are the two worst characters on the show.

I'm ready for Tyreese to return. I think Rick needs a friend that doesn't make him think of Lori.
