The Walking Dead

I hope they only do one more season because the characters are starting to get old. Time for some main guys to die, and maybe Carl will go nuts as well

I was kind of hoping one of Tyrese's friends would try to step to Carl. Carl don't play anymore.

I like the direction of the show.

It's interesting to see the way the stress is taking it's toll on Rick. It seems like after traumatic events is when his hallucinations kick in. The phone calls from Dale and Lori and she died in the prison. Seeing Shane in Woodbury while they were trying to free Glen and Maggy. Now most recently seeing Lori after losing Daryl and having more people want to stay with them. He doesn't want the responsibility anymore I think. He was fine till right after it looked like he conceded to Herschel asking him to let Tyrese's group stay.

I think they've got a great story going.

They need to cut down the off time between seasons. Too long to hold my interest waiting so long for six episodes.

I could see Rick ceding decision making for the group to Herschel, freeing him to just be half-crazy and kill anything that endangers the group. Maybe even Tyrese could eventually fill that leadership role. He's already been doing that for his small group.

It's still season 3 actually. And we have another 7 episodes to go before it's over. They bumped season 3 to 16.

I hate the Dec-Jan break a lot of shows do, but they got their reasons. And being that The Walking Dead is one of the most popular shows on tv, I doubt they'll change it up.

Honestly, that wasn't the best episode. They need to get away from the "Rick is going crazy" stuff. It's getting old.

It was a very good episode. The story got even more interesting and is going in several directions. That means more drama in the future.

I could care less about the walkers anymore. The show has some great drama.

To each their own, but the "Rick is going crazy" is getting old. Plus it looks like they are coming up with some way to keep the Lori character going, which is bad.

I thought the episode was good up until the end, which I thought was blah.

I don't see it as a way to keep her character going. Just a spot appearance to supplement the effects of leadership has taken on Rick.

I'm wondering if they're building it to a breakdown where he starts capping people left and right or if it's just to show how he's taking everything that's happened.

I don't mind the story aspect of it, but that scene was something atrocious.

I don't want Rick's character to go crazy. I like when he's level-headed and all Jack Bauer about his situation.

They are developing Rick's character even deeper and developing new plot lines. Folks, the alternate title could be "the life and times of Rick Grimes". The show is basically about him.

"The Leader" is probably going to be featured a little more than anyone else. In this case it's Rick.

But I don't see the show being about him. Several of the characters are developing. It's still a group story to me.

I know I'll get chastised for this because he's a fan favorite, but Daryl needs something. He's getting to be a boring character. He does nothing. He has a crossbow and kills a zombie here and there. Glen and Maggie are kidnapped. Andrea and the Gov are partying in Woodbury while he kills anyone outside of town. Rick's dealing with the stress of leadership and new people. Carl isn't getting lost anymore. Michonne is getting revenge on the Gov and trying to find a home..........and then there's Daryl. Who hasn't been that involved thus far. Hopefully the writer's have some good stuff planned for him and Merle.

They should throw Daryl and Michonne in the courtyard with a bunch of zombies and place bets on who can kill the most. Similar to the fights the governor set up.

Not a fan of hour long Talking Dead. I felt like I got nothing extra, yet it took twice the time. Doubt I'll watch next week.
