The Walking Dead

Talking Dead poll question was who will you miss the most between Shane, Dale and Sophia?

That's what I've been saying. And Talking Dead didn't address the whole zombie vision thing, at least I didn't hear it.

I think that was more of a visual for the viewer, not anything experienced by Rick or Shane. A representation of what was happening to Shane perhaps.

There is a herd of walkers in the woods about to converge on Herschel's farm. Buffet at Herschel's.

0They will miss Shane in this next show. He would have been nice in the shootout that's about to happen

I didn't like Shane, but you're not supposed to like him. He was a good character. And in truth, I didn't disagree with a lot of what he had to say. You couldn't pussyfoot around and lead by committee in a situation like they are in.

There are still a few characters that get on my nerves in the show, and I am just tired of them. Lori and Carl, primarily.

The loss of Shane's character really leaves a void in the show, in my opinion.

I have not see the spoilers for the season finale, bit I'm guessing that we lose all of Herschel's family and a couple of Rick's group.

I was tired of Carl til he put a bullet in Shane's head. Now I'm kinda interested to see what happens with him. I think I'd like Carl better if there was a better actor playing him.

They're going to meet the governor next season. And he makes Shane seem like a saint. Anyone whos read the comic knows what I'm talking about. And I really hope they get to the prison also.

That's just the clip they played at the end of the episode. It didn't show any new characters. Or did I miss something?

The loss of Shane and Dale really shift things. To a large extent they were the Yin/Yang of the group; Shane with his view of "survival IS the point" vs Dale's "we can't just throw away our own humanity due to the situation" mindset. Unless somebody really comes out of the woodwork Rick's the only person with any real voice in the group.

The other thing is other people are going to have to really step up tactically. Laurie seems an easy pick as the new "shooter in waiting". Still, from a pure force standpoint the group's looking awfully thin.

You guys are so good at talking about this show without giving anything away. KUDO's!!!

I'm pumped for the last episode. If only they could have gotten to this point without all of the BS from the episodes last fall. This has been a killer set of episodes. And it should only get better.

A new character will be introduced, and people that follow the comics know where we're headed next.

So as I see it, Lori is to blame for almost getting Rick killed with her "Rick is such a loser and I really screwed up and I'm so sorry" conversation with Shane. Gave Shane all the encouragement he needed.

I really appericate how this show is ready and willing to kill off practically anyone.

Well they can't just keep killing of characters without adding new ones. I'm really looking forward to Sunday.

Was trying to remember, didn't Andrea's sister die and turn into a zombie fairly quickly in Season 1?

I have a friend that I'm trying to catch up on what's going on and we watched this episode last night.
The attack happened some time in the night and Lori say's to Rick ,the next day. "She hasn't moved all night", (Talking about Andrea). So I would have to say no it wasn't quick with her sister. My guess it took her about 12 hours. <-- that is just my guess.

Shane was really quick
