The Walking Dead

I think it was to show his the group had gelled. They were a tight unit and everyone knew their part. There were way too many yelling matches in the first part of last season that really dragged the show down. If this episode had aired then, they would still be standing outside the prison arguing whether or not to go in and would do so for 2 1/2 episodes. Plus, it's hard to show cleavage with a big coat on.

Change of show runners near the end of last season is supposedly the reason for the shift. He has to work with the framework that was established but he's apparently trying to tighten up the character interaction to get to...

You do not stay #1 on cable TV by smashing zombie heads for the entire show each week.

That is most definitely the biggest reason the show is #1 on cable because it sure isn't the acting in the show.

Except that they didnt develop the characters. They just yelled at each other. Dialogue alone isn't character development.

Especially with less than stellar actors delivering the dialogue.

Compared to the source material the show blows character development out of the water. The build up to Rick and Shane's showdown was much more dramatic. Andrea, Lori, Glenn, Herschel, Maggie, Carl, all of them are much better characters in the show.

Of course, they are 2 different mediums. You can read well past where they are on the show in the time it takes to watch 2 or 3 episodes. That's no excuse.

These guys are killing machines. I love it!

I'm still not big on Carol or the older being interested in him. He's an awful actor.

I have a feeling Lori and the baby are done for this season.

I would love that. I hate when shows are like, "O look, this main character is never going to die so you viewers never have to worry your pretty little heads."

When Sophia turned up...It just made me love the show 10x more.

It's rare that I would give a nod to the TV/Film adaptation over the source material. The Walking Dead is definitely better because the characters are a lot more fleshed out.

OT another graphic novel that was better in film was A History of Violence.

Everybody who thought Shane was the badass last season and Rick was his candy obviously wasn't paying attention.

No kidding. Furthermore, if it was a two way tango, and it was Rick and Dayrl against anyone, it's game over. I thought Norman Reedus was a badass in Boondock Saints, but damn.

It's official, according to sources I just made up, Rick Grimes has surpassed Chuck Norris on the all time badass list.

Did I miss something? Why is Rick so passed at Lori now when he wasn't when he first learned about her and Shane?

She's a horrible wife.
She's a horrible mom.
She's a horrible person.

It's way bigger than just the Shane stuff.
