regardless, still figured they could have killed off one of the lesser characters.

honestly thought either Tara or Aaron were getting offed, but that could have just been the paranoia I had after seeing that they were the guest stars on Talking Dead about halfway through the episode haha

Great episode. This has been the best half of a season in the whole series in my opinion. Haven't had a single bad episode.

The guy telling Rick he was scarier than the saviors was funny. Rick is a survivor.

Eugene cracks me up.

I thought Glenn was going to screw their attack up. I didn't think he'd have the guts to do it, but he proved me wrong.

that was stupid. made no sense to me. Rick is pretty damn frightening, but Negan is something else.

Father Gabriel definitely elevates himself as a character in my eyes if he just goes around quoting bible verses and capping *****es.

You gotta realize that guy has never actually seen Negan. No one at the Hilltop has. That dude has no idea how bad Negan is, he's just dealt with Negans men, not Negan himself.

Agree. I hope this becomes a thing. Quoting the Bible , then proceeding to **** some people up. He's pretty badass right now

pretty sure he/they (Hilltop) has, unless i missed something. comics they definitely have seen him.

regardless if it was negan or not, all of hilltop community witnessed the Saviors (and/or Negan) brutally beat one of their younger "people" to death for little reason save because they could (plus install some fear into the community). still way worse than anything he's seen Rick do.

Glenn will meet sweet Lucille I am sure of it now. Glenn is the one Negan kills in the Comics. Carol told Maggie she shouldn't be there. Negan is going to find out Maggie and Glenn are together and he will smash Glen's head open in front of her mark my words.

Negan is a highly intelligent psychopath and executing Glenn in front of Maggie will instantly make him the most hated antagonistic in Walking Dead history.

Oh and remember the pictures Glenn looked at with the cracked open skulls. That is Negans work and Glenn just got a look at his very own fate.

I won't be shocked to see another big name like Abraham, Carol, or Morgan meet thier ends at the end of this season too. Negan is going to be a whole new level of enemy for Rick and company.

This is been my favorite half season so far, thank god cause I was close to tapping out. Wanted a Carol fix, got a Carol fix, not happy about where the Carol fix may be leading. I'll gladly take Rosita off of Abraham's hands BTW. The Eugene part was funny, the Gabriel part was great. Somebody please ****ing kill Morgan.

Nobody is going to discuss that room that Abraham broke into? There were green lights and plants. I said to myself, "Negan's growing weed?!"

Daryl got his motorcycle back and Morgan looks to be building a jail cell for the next person he's going to capture and not kill.

The dad from Banshee(Rus Blackwell) is in the next episode too.

It went really well actually. They destroyed that outpost. Problem is I think they were expecting that to be "the" stronghold and it wasn't even close. Still, took a nice chunk of manpower out of the saviors.

The problem with Glenn getting Lucille'd at this point is they will have completely ruined it with the 2 Glenn fake-outs, especially the first one.

Glenn's death in the comic was shocking not only for how it happened, but also because it was pretty much out of the blue. If they go through with it on the show, they already milked him "dying" for 4 weeks earlier in the season, faked another death just 3 episodes ago, and are being way too obvious in foreshadowing.

I will honestly be pretty disappointed if it ends up being Glenn because the way it will play out will end up being pretty lazy writing. Morgan and Abraham aren't big enough. It's got to be Daryl, Carol, or Maggie in that order.

The pictures Glenn saw is the reason why I'm sort of doubting its going to be Glenn. It makes sense. All the evidence is there, but it's just too obvious. I just have that feeling were getting played, and something else will happen. Jmo.

Actually in the comics the hilltop had never seen him until after Rick had seen him. I believe Jesus tells Rick they don't even know if Negan is real, they believe it's just a "bogeyman" the savoirs have made up to be scary.
I thought it was the same in the show since, they thought Negan was in the compound they attacked. Jesus could of easily confirmed if he wasn't if Jesus had seen Negan before.

Also, regardless if they have seen Negan or not, you're got a good point. The Saviors apparently beat some kid to death at the hilltop. I think the whole line was just meant as a joke. Comedy relief. Lol

Just got compendium 3, going to start reading it this afternoon. Been awhile since I finished 2, but I think it ended right at Hilltop.
