The Walking Dead

reasons to kill the prisoner:
1) he knows Maggie and presumably knows where the farm is located and this can't be trusted if they release him
2) he was a part of the group that tried to kill Rick, Hershel, and glen
3) he admitted to taking part in the rape, pillage, and murder at another farm (I'm not convinced he didn't take part in the rape)
4) he provides zero value-add to the group b/c he can't be trusted without being actively restrained or guarded

I agree. It's almost like a battlefield out there now and you have to protect your own.

Kind of interesting now u see how unsafe the farm actually is. U think they would put up some sort of perimeter alarm or something. Barb wire or fence or something to keep walkers out.

That's what bothers me. If there's such a big threat out there they should fortify the farm instead of just standing around arguing. I mean apparently all it takes is some mud to stop walkers.

Also the walker isnt strong enough to get out of mud, but he can rip open a rib cage?

Hopefully either Carl or Lori dies this season. They are so lame.

I hated seeing Dale one too.

That zombie looked a lot healthier than other ones. It sure moved faster.

Im pretty sure that was the zombie that got Dale. Did you see the way Carl looked at the zombie and freaked?
Carl knows that happened because of him. He lead that Zombie to them. Just they way he acted he knew it.

the writers did a good job of making sure the viewers would have no doubt that Carl is the spawn of dumbass Laurie.

Ok, I like this show....but there are so many dumb things that get on my nerves/make me laugh.

-A walker is not strong enough to get his feet out of some mud....but he can rip open a man's stomach with his bare hands?

-People walk around in the woods alone during a zombie apocolypse....you'd think that would be rule #1 on the DO NOT DO list.

-When Lori wrecked the car, how can she not see a slow moving walker in the middle of the road? Woman drivers are the worst.

-They drove 18 miles out, where are they getting this gasoline? My friend said they were syphoning it, but I dont remember that.

-Rick was "stuck" under two or three walkers after the fight scene, then he shot through the ones mouth to kill the one in the back (which was badass). Then as soon as they're dead he just pushes them aside and gets up? huh? I lol'd.

I know I'm being picky, just this show is so cheesy comical in many ways.

Also, Dale was annoying.

He probably wasn't stuck, but he knew that to move the two "dead" zombies, he would be attacked by the third one, hence his trying to shoot the zombie and then getting the idea to shoot it through the other dead zombies mouth.

-I've seen this stated a lot. But I stand by my thought that human skin isn't that tough. It's not like it is animal hide that takes a knife to get through. Someone, who attacks with full strength, and with exposed fingernails and bones could get through a stomach without superhuman strength.

-Agree. Stupid to walk around without telling anyone where you are going, or that you saw a walker close to the farm.

-Lori was looking at a map while driving.

-Herschel has some gasoline at his farm stocked up. They run generators for their power. There was also plenty of cars on the road at the beginning of the season that they could siphon from.

- I don't think Rick couldn't move, just that he shouldn't move or the zombie would have a clear shot.

The interesting thing about the zombie that attacked Dale though, is that he didn't just go for after a bite of dinner. He physically attacked him. That's different then other zombie attacks too.

It's Zombie Apocalypse on TV. Enjoy it.

Like I said, I do enjoy the show. Just really cheesy parts make me laugh. I think you took my post to seriously...

I'm a huge Breaking Bad fan and it makes Walking Dead look like Sesame Street. BB is well thought out and brilliant imo.

:hi:

Pretty much what I just said. :hi:

I think you're onto something volly, because the zombie just got done eating the cow....creepy :ermm:

Zombies don't get full. It isn't like he wasn't hungry anymore. It was probably eating the cow until it noticed something moving and went after that.

Now, how Dale never saw it and it surprised him from behind is another story.

That's what got me. Dale walked to the edge of the big open field where the cow/bull was....and then the zombie appeared from behind him. Where tf was the zombie when he walked towards the cow/bull?

I don't know if it was an intentional physical attack. Zombies usually claw at the humans as their being fought.

As to how the walker was able to do it, the director in Talking Dead kind of addressed that after the show. Said something to the effect of walkers having thin sharp fingers with long nails and that being why he was able to rip open Dale's gut.
