Well good grief dude...Good job landing that one!..She's a real cutie!:w00t: Can't wait to convert my wife into a big Orange fanatic...She's peruvian and has never been to a ballgame yet and isn't sure what she is in for...I told her to get ready to meet a bunch of new friends and learn all about the big orange experince :clapping:

Thanks Miami... She wasn't much of a football fan at all before I met her. The picture of us shotgunning is before a Panthers preseason game which was her first live football game, she was iffy about it since it was lackluster to say the least. The next weekend IIRC, I took her to the Cal@UT game in football paradise, and she's been diehard ever since!! I've taken her to most of the home games over the past 2 years, but also to Berkeley, the swamp, Williams-Brice, and Atl for the SECCG.

nothing all that interesting from the practice. though i hope the number of TN fans that showed up to the practice session is not indicative of how many will be at the game (s). the tar heel faithful was out in full force. had the whole lower bowl and some of the upper deck full.

we barelly filled up 2 sections.

they looked loose, ran some drills, did some dunks, shot A LOT. Bruce spent most of the session talking to Dick E. and Jay B. at media row.

all in all though, they looked ok. just having fun.

i'm back at work, call it a long lunch.

as for the game, it's probably for the best. i don't have the extra cabbage right now, otherwise, i'd just go down and buy 'em off the street.

but if today was any indication, that may prove to be difficult in and of itself. I'll put it this way, scalpers are looking for tickets.:eek:lol:

enjoy yourself windy, cause Lord knows who ever is going with you won't.:)

looked like it to me. didn't seem him sit out on any drills, shot with rest of the guards, ran the break with the 5 man drills etc....looked fine to me.

I asked one of the guys at work who is a UNC fan about typical scalping for tickets around here, he said it definitely is not the easiest unless you are willing to fork over the cash, and even if you wait until the unc game starts, I'm sure plenty of left over straggling unc fans will get those tickets as well. I will not be surprised to see 90% unc fans.

And Jake :Bbiteme: I am going with 3 other guys. Two I met at the ut alumni association tenn/memphis gig here in charlotte, and then another. So you should thank me for finding tickets and getting 3 other vol fans in. Without me, that would be 4 less vols more than likely. :)

To all the people going to Charlotte: I went a couple seasons ago to Greensboro when we played winthrop and (gulp) Wichita St.

Inside the stadium a couple hourse before the game was a party for VOL fans. A room with Orange Moon Pies, yes I said ORANGE moon pies... (god bless america) selling alchohol. free drinks. Mike Hamilton was there, Loftons parents. Games Trivia etc. It was killer. Im not sure if their doing it in Charlotte or not but Im sure they will

....please tell me she does'nt flats fish AND cut the grass........I don't want to have to leave mine, but if there's a chick out there setting the bar like that, I'm going back on the hunt.......shotgunning beer at a football game, looking good in orange.....go figure.

I'm about to head out the door here in Ohio. We're driving down to Tennessee tonight, spending the night, and then heading down to Charlotte tomorrow morning.

If all goes as planned, yes you will. I cannot wait to get there and for the atmosphere. The place is going to be rocking.
