With Tennesse's victory over Kentucky, our Vols have shown the league and all of college football that they are back. This team has come so far since losing the first 2 games. There is no quit in this team. They have overcome penalties, fumbles and mental errors. They did not fold during the Bama game, or any game since, especially during tonights game against Kentucky. This team showed heart and determination. Great things are ahead. Bring on Missouri and Vandy.

no statement. We barely beat West Point-south. ... It was ugly. We tried to lose that one. Any team with more than one weapon, and 4 star cornerbacks, and we would've been absolutely crushed. Grown men would've cried... not like Ed O when he beats Saban, but like a kid who gets his lunch taken away and knows that it will happen again every day of his school career.

We aren't back but we've proven to have heart and the staff can coach up a team that isn't that talented (minus the WR group). I have confidence now that once we get the right players in here that we are gonna be good. In the past we have signed good players but they weren't coached up.

Pump the brakes, we have beat one team with a winning record. I would agree things are looking good though.

I think this is only a statement win in that the team didn't give up. They fought through the ugly and found a way to win. Honestly, we've had teams that would not have overcome the first quarter. That fight and determination gives me hope.

It important to remember to take a moment to enjoy these things. It far to easy to look at all that went wrong tonight and complain about it. This team has made tremendous improvements this year and its important to stop and appreciate it, because we know how much worse it can get.

For example - my uncle is a big UGA fan. He is just as miserable these days as he was with UGA 10 years ago.

If the only thing that will make you content as a football fan is a championship, you are going to always have a bad time.

considering they only have 63 scholarship players suiting up each game I will give then credit for fighting 4 quarter's. There is a legitimate chance to win 5 straight to end the season. Gimme that and then we'll talk.

We are not back. We are not feared yet.

When teams fear us and know they're in for a 4 quarter battle every single game, and when teams far better than Kentucky get nervous walking into Neyland, THEN we will be back.

However, hard hitting defense that never quits is a great way to get there. And that's what I saw tonight.

We are not back. But we are getting there

Today, the whole country learned that if you are going to play Tennessee, you better have a Quarterback.....ya know.....playing Quarterback.

I don’t think we’re back is accurate at this time, but I do believe we are getting the course corrected to head in that direction.

Calm down killer. To claim Tennessee is back after beating.......kentucky shows that we are for sure not back. It should be mandatory to beat the cats
