The VN Recipe Thread

Did I pick out decent spices? We already had, nutmeg, paprika, lemon pepper, garlic salt, steak seasoning, minced onion, parsley flakes, meat tenderizer, and chili powder.

Double post. I'm freezin' up again.

You did fine man. We'll get to the garlic. Depends on how and what you're gonna use it in. Hell, I think I'm as excited as you are. :)

What about them WM? And what did you end up doing with all those maters?

Sorry, it's a Billy C new thread so i thought i would ask some food experts in here.

My mass quantities of tomatoes became a part of my new chili recipe i have been trying to perfect for years. The acidity levels arent as all out of wack as they are with salsa so i went with something alot easier to store.

Sounds like you did well at the store. Like others said, I'm sure your Dad is proud of you and your interest in learning and growing.

You'll come up with something good. Let us know and how it turns out. I'm excited for ya, too. Srsly.

haha, that's cool USA. I get the same way after a nice "haul" from the grocery.

I really would like to try something with that yellow rice Sly referred me to. I've never had it before.

 I'm glad I'm not just overreacting lol

Another way to save cash and come up with ideas is to get a Sunday paper and clip some coupons. Keep em in an envelope and take them to the store with you. Before long you'll have a stash built up and can plan your shopping out.

I'm sure you can find a great recipe for yellow rice. Just be sure to avoid the yellow snow.
