Since we don't seem to have a secondary I thought we might as well start calling it by a more appropriate name.

:mf_surrender:

Seriously though, how can we have so many busts in coverage every single game? I would say it's comically bad but since I'm a UT fan I'll say it's painfully bad. Our players don't even know who to cover out there. That first Bama TD to a wide open guy in the endzone...wtf? It happens every game.

I laughed.

Its the kind of joke if I made it in my circle of friends I'd get punched in my nuts...but I laughed.

This has become "the" formula to beat us

1. Pressure Bray, he can't scramble, and doesn't check down well.
2. Confuse the secondary, they don't know what the heck they're doing.
3. As the game goes on, pound the rock, our defense will wear down from too much play time.
4. Play tight man to man on CP and Hunter, they can't handle the physical coverage.

While one would think I might giving our opponents and edge, I don't think I'm revealing any secrets here. Christ almighty, my 13 year old son sees all this.

Additionally, our offensive formations are dead giveaways, any trained defensive squad that has studied ten minutes of tape knows exactly what we're going to do before the play begins. My freakin wife was laughing at me last night cuz I was calling every play before it began.

BTW, I'm a nobody, I'm a joe schmo, john q. public.

Since our secondary is such a joke we might as well laugh about it because hoping for them to get better obviously isn't going to change anything.

Someone needs to teach Coleman that Man to Man coverage doesn't mean Man to Man laying on the ground coverage. I'm not sure how he is any better that Teague except for the fact that he is younger and we get a few more years of his non athletic ability.

Plus, I'm pretty sure I read that he was one of the Game Captains for the Bama game which means that the coaches think he's pretty good. It's a sad state of affairs.
