I'm more than sick of the support the team or get out mentality. The team has regressed since last year, we don't have to be happy about that. Only reason we are 3-0 is because we'be had lucky breaks against inferior competition. I think you sunshine pumper fail to see that the team that has been there the first three games is far away from a division champion and we will be lucky to go 2-2 in the next 4.

In which we were given at least three fumbles and once again were going conservative on offense until we were down by two scores. That shut won't work in SEC play, we start off like that we will lose.

Y'all will enjoy the game more when you realize there isn't anything you can do about how well these kids are playing. Complaining doesn't do anything but bring yourself and the people around you down.

Am I disappointed with the play so far? Sure, but I'm happy I get to see the Vols play football on Saturdays.

I'm also glad I don't live anywhere near another UT fan.

Cool, go live on your world of rainbows and puppy dogs while the rest of us realize that the great season we were all hoping for is looking like a mirage at the moment. Some of us care that we are underachieving so far, I'd argue that those of you that don't are worse than us "negaVols"

I didn't say I didn't care. I said quit making 90 threads about how "we" suck. There's no we. You have virtually zero effect on the outcome of a game.

Most fans say we when referring to their team as most fans are supporting the team longer than the players that play for it.

OP should probably set up a booth outside Gate 21 next week to educate the fan base on proper in-stadium etiquette.

Maybe hand out some flash cards for fans to use on when it is appropriate to cheer and what not as well.

If fans can't make it to the stadium, perhaps take his/her online course and get a certificate on being a true fan.

You're one of those fans that does the wave while we have the ball, right? The only way you take that position is to have no clue about the quality of our coaching or football.

To be honest I was expecting to be 3-0 at this point with 3 wins similar to how we handled Northwestern. That was a bust, the part of how we got the wins, but they did in fact happen.

Plan A is still in play.

We have injuries(get well soon fellas) where the next man up will need to produce.

Time to watch the film and make improvements to get better.

I enjoy a good boo, but usually reserve them for the Refs and when the opposing team is coming to the field. I'm not sure when a bad play call is executed poorly and then the team gets booed that it helps our team at all, but what are you gonna do, some feel that since they paid their money and they can boo if they want, it's true, but come on, to boo the Vols, it's just wrong.

Get it together Butch, beat Florida.

Take these posts with a grain of salt, the fan police are the same ones who said dooley needs another year and he was going to get us back to the top. Anytime you are on the opposite side of them you are doing ok.

Since most of you are having a hard time comprehending the OP. I never once posted my stance on the "quality of our coaching or football". My stance on how we have performed is probably similar to yours. I just don't go online blasting negativity and degradation towards the players. That is what the OP was about.

I actually agree with that sentiment. The players are OK with me. I'm just way past tired of sh*tty coaches speaking in cliches
