Maybe I am wrong....but wasnt the media allowed at this camp? The SEC is the only conference to out-right ban media from any on campus recruiting functions, right? If so, I am really surprised at the lack of info as to how Scroggins and the other players performed.

"Being told that Lakewood(CA) QB Jesse Scroggins did indeed get a USC offer today. The 6'3 signal caller was the best QB in attendance from what I'm told. I still think Tennessee lands him, but the SC offer will definitely make it interesting."

Some QB named Brey supposedly had the best outing in the rising stars camp! That should be good news for us on Scroggins!!!! With the hip pointer and his recent visit to Knoxville,maybe CPC is trying to avoid offering then losing Scroggins to the Vols.

I would say a lot of landing him depends on whether or not he wants to stay close to home and play or not

Good stuff....thanks for the link. Looks like Rettig is indeed getting some attention, even if he doesn't yet have any offers. Recruiting analysts said he looked really good at our camp, and now the same at USC's...that would be a heck of a haul to get both Scroggins and Rettig, IMHO.

There was a link I followed from USC rivals that said he had a really good camp. He is 6'6" 185, skinny as a rail! I can't retrieve that link for some reason, but it said he had the best camp, I think he is a 3*, but possibly on his way up! If we miss Scroggins,we made need to check this kid out!

USC may have their recent history on us but we got the Rock. It helped seal Bryce Brown IMO I think we can get Scroggins

Scroggins and Rettig took the majority of reps. Rettig has an obvious size advantage, both guys have tremendous arm strength. These two separated themselves from the rest early on. Now Boston College has offered Rettig.

USC is all hollywood, you know what though, its like Pete dont care who sees them practice he still lets the cameras in. BTW the Big ten also allows media at camps too. Ohio State and Iowas camps were on Big ten network yesterday.........
