Eh I think we are fine at lb.. I would rather have Patterson. As long as santos stays we have him Johnson maggitt and peters for atleast 2 more years so we have time to get ELITE lbs with sunseri here

An don't forget lathers he was our leading tackler his Sophi season and got a med RS his Jr season

yes AJ needs to be in the middle. Will completely dominate the middle.

Best thing about this is the depth now!

Rotating in and out all damn day

There shouldn't even be a rotation really... Maybe try Jacques or bohannon on the outside for a killer pass rush on some plays buy that lb core is sick

Yeah lathers will play this season outside and will be a great mentor to peters.. I'm just so high on peters because anyone who gets 120+ tackles in one season in Louisiana football is gonna be a pretty good player

What? yes there will be a lot of rotating at LB for sure!!!! Especially with multiple defensive sets. We won't be getting nearly as worn down late in games on defense. Especially if we can run the damn ball.

Well idk.. It'll be interesting to watch. We have a lot of personnel who can play ball so I think we will have plenty of schemes.. I'm just ready to see the boys hit somebody. Very excited for our front 7 just worries about the secondary

Yeah. With the exception that none of these guys from the 2012 class have proven themselves at the collegiate level.

If they all played for LSU or Bama would you say that?

Peters - defensive MVP in the Offense/Defense all star game in Dallas.

Santos - rave reviews from the coaching staff at the Armour All All American game.

Richie Brown - #12 LB on Rivals. Runs a 4.5 40, 4.1 shuttle with a 37" vertical at 6' 2" and 225-230 lbs. Sick highlight tapes on his mobility. Offered by half of the SEC plus Stanford.

Add that to 3 studs we got last year. Nuff said.

upgrade at LB? we could sign Patterson anyway. He is a WR. I think we take at least one more LB in class especially with Sunseri here. Need two moe DTs too and one RB (Mike Davis)

Patterson can be Keithon Redding's upgrade.

Somebody must be daydreaming today... With the ability to type at the same time.. Very impressive +1

I am good at mult-tasking.

In all reality, he isn't coming to UT because of comments that he made abour our WR situation(depth)..Don't know the specific comments he made, maybe someone else would know.

Yeah I mean.. It really isnt a spot where he will shine right away.. Wouldn't be the smartest thing to come here. I just don't want to see him at any other sec school.. But I can't wait to see him and green beckham to play... Future pros for sure.. Especially beckham

Depth? We have two studs Hunter and Da'Rick. After that it is a huge drop off. So not much depth there.
