Our Vols are Undefeated at 3-0 yet we here are whining like we haven't won a game. I'm guilty of this myself somewhat.

Would you rather be a 1-2 Ole Miss team that is respected and has 2 moral victories yet still sports a 2 loss record?

Unabashed, high expectations and crazy hype can do that to a fanbase but seriously, come down from the ledge.

Florida has played 3 really bad teams yet is ranked #1 in Defense nationally.

Let the game play out Saturday and then maybe go crazy but in the meantime enjoy the undefeated start and relax. Go Vols

I think it's Georgia.... They feel entitled and the big dog of the east. Feel they should be looked at like Alabama, unfortunately for them they' haven't won $$$$ in about 35 years. They might as well be Yale

Are you legally blind? We've got Top 3 talent and have been voted out of the top 10 because our line can't block 2-star athletes and walkons. To be a happy Vol fan implies vision problems. Like if you are happy right now I seriously think you only listen on the radio, still rely on a fuzzy 13-inch TV, sat at the top row at Bristol, or some combination of those.

I agree completely, we need to play out this Florida game before we flip out completely.

However, I cannot blame the fanbase for being down on the season so far. This is basically the same team that finished on a long winning streak (7 games?) in 2015, almost beat Alabama and Oklahoma, and blew Northwestern out of the water in a bowl game. All off-season we hear how this is the same team, only more talented and experienced, how the O-line will be better than ever, our defense will be lights out, the passing game has improved, yet we squeak out wins against App State and Ohio.

If we lose, we 100% have the right to flip out and whine. Butch will be on the hot seat. If we win, all will be forgiven, and the East will be in reach. God I hope we win, I don't think this fanbase can handle a 12th to Florida loss right now.

You do realize you can pull for another team right? Again I say Bi-Polar because your on the wagon one week and the next ready to cliff jump into a sea with no water. Are there issues? Yes and we have coaches and a team who knows the issues and the need to show out this week. Step away or move on.

Wouldn't say unhappiest, but I would say one of the longest suffering and most frustrated from the standpoint of investment vs return over the last 10-15 years.

Get back Chance and Kirkland and win more games.

Fl will be without one line plus perhaps tackle Ivey in the 1st half...and Del Rio.

I'm counting on the lack of experience hesitation and a rowdy crowd to parlay into tons of false starts and sacks for Florida.

Elusiveness Maximus for Dobbs too!

Why is it so hard for you and some other posters to understand, that as a fan of this team, you can be happy for the wins, but be unhappy with the way we are playing, the lack of preparation, and poorly designed offensive scheme?

It's not an all in, either/or situation. We've struggled in every game so far, regardless of the skill level of our opponent. We have yet to play like a team that returned 17 starters, and is stacked with experience. Contrary to your belief, it's ok to be upset with us looking like an unprepared FCS team for most of the game every Saturday.

THE most loyal fanbase.

You think anyone else would put up with the BS we have for the last 10 years? No. They'd be apathetic.

We are the best fan base in the country.

Herein lies the conundrum. We're 3-0 as we should be but we certainly don't pass the eye test for a team that is supposed to win the east at a minimum. This is the classic setup for a full scale sunshine pumper vs. negavol showdown. The problem is, both sides are right...and wrong.

True the first three games were wins; but from the way that all but a couple of quarters have been played, fan response isn't particularly surprising. This is year four, the rebuilding is supposed to be reasonably complete, the trend has been up, Butch has his own guys in key places, and yet ... Kinda reminds me of "The beatings will continue until morale improves." Fortunately the beatings haven't literally been beatings, but the play hasn't done much for fan morale.

This is about the third time I have seen the argument about would you rather look like this team or win.
I would rather take the option that some of you don't seem to believe exist. Win and look good doing so. There are other options besides moral victories and winning ugly.

Difference w/ us and Ole Miss is that they've had recent success, w/ the added icing on top of beating Bama last two years. OM passed the "eye test" against Bama, though am sure their fan base not too happy. Still pretty easy case to make for 9-3 or 10-2 season. Here's the problem w/ why we're not a happy fan base. LY, we were teased with efficient, solid, mistake free football, and toyed with going from good to great. Expectations w/ returning starter core is to take up where we left off...and that hasn't happened. If we start playing like we did from 2nd QTR of GA game LY, there won't be as much negativity, and wins will come. But, on the field results, so far, puts us in the middle of the SEC pack, at best. We've seen nothing but 3 years of upward trajectory, and this year's regression IS a cause for concern.

My concern is smaller less talented teams are blowing us off the ball into the 4th quarter. We shouldn't have both lines getting pushed around like that.
