The Bammer's are riled over this statement by CLK but surprisingly there are some level heads that agree CLK has put together a fomidable (understatement) staff.:dance2:

"It was imperative to not only find great recruiters but great recruiters that knew the conference," Kiffin said in a statement. "To be able to take South Carolina's recruiting coordinator, Mississippi State's recruiting coordinator, Alabama's best recruiter and Auburn's best recruiter over the past 10 years was a great accomplishment for us. Once again, I would like to thank (athletics director) Mike Hamilton, the athletic department and our donors for making this possible."

He has built a great staff the only other thing that needs to be seen is Can we win? I hope this pays off big time, but could be a gamble with so many strong personalities. But I can't wait to find out.

Props to one Bama fan:

"You can spin it how ever you want, but they have assembled a formidable staff. They have every state in the south covered with proven recruiting winners. Seems they are tired of losing and are doing something about it. Good for them, but we still have the best, so it's just better competition. The SEC is sick."

I stated earlier in another thread. I have some friends that are Bama fans and are very intelligent and level-headed. They are almost extinct though.

Saw that in another thread...if that's what it takes then I'll go ahead and leave that Genie in the bottle. Let them have all the intelligence they're Bama hearts can desire.

I like this one:

He has not seen burning until Florida gets a hold of his a55 next season.

Reminds me of a buddy I had one time when he got in an argument with a guy. He tells the guy, "You're about to get your a$$ kicked." The guy says by who? My buddy says "By him!!", and points at me. LMAO

the secret to success is the people you put around you. coack k has put together a staff above all others. tweak a few more areas and success will follow . clk is one smart man . ah the bammer fans, i married one, i have trying to convert her since 1982. even moved into the enemy territory, its like having your tooth pulled without pain killer trying to convert a bammer.

definitely thrown down the gauntlet to the rest of the SEC with his official statement. I like his confidence. Many fans of other SEC teams probably see him as being very arrogant. It's certainly a change of pace from our previous staff.

Now that Coach Kiffin has sufficiently pissed off virtually the entire conference, let's hope that our team can back up his words with wins on the field. Everyone will have extra motivation to beat us season, so it'll definitely bring some more spice to conference play. I'm looking forward to it.

I doubt Brandon Spikes or any other Florida player will get to say that UT quit after next year...

I agree. If anything, I think the team will play with more fire and passion on both sides of the ball (Not to say that our defense didn't this year, but it'll be RAMPED UP if Coach Monte and Coach O have their way).

I haven't put pads on in a few years...but after Monte's and Ed's press conference I was ready to hit somebody.

The days of laying over meekly and quitting are through in Knoxville.

:lolabove: I had the same reaction as you did after watching their press conference. Anyone who didn't get fired up after watching that must not have a pulse.

If that is an Alabama IQ test then I am truly thankful that my father had the good sense to leave that state before I was born. I wonder for what level of education is that in the end of grade exam. In Tennessee we would tend to make an adverse determination of intelligence if someone were to instruct us in the proper technique for doing the above.

No question that Kiffin is building the best staff in the SEC. Florida's lost some of their coaches and will lose more. UT's staff has 2 of the best from bama's staff under Saban. With some stud recruits, UT will dominate the conference.
