The Truth is Kevin is Smarter than Bruce.

He's taken over rebuilding jobs and done a Hell of a job at every stop. You don't become an NBA Head Coach by not knowing what you're doing.

He's not nearly as good as Pearl. That's why he's beat us the last two years with much less talent.

Not saying he doesn't know what he's doing. But as far as winning basketball games, he hasn't had much success since he left Marquette.

I also find it strange that he moves around so much. O'Neill hasn't had a job for more than three years since Marquette, and never had the same job for consecutive years in the NBA if I remember correctly.

There maybe something there!! Maybe he gets out of dodge at the first sign of adversity or maybe he just likes jumping around like a kangaroo.

What has Kevin accomplished exactly? His college coaching record isn't exactly stellar.

Rebuilding 2 programs is easy, working in the NBA is easy, and not to mention he's 2-0 against Pearl the past 2 seasons when Pearl has had much superior teams.

Just saying the guy hasn't won many games and I'm not as impressed by him as some.

It's hard to have a good record when you take over programs with awful players. He has left every college stop in a better position than what it was when he arrived.

I honestly wish I could have seen KO coaching those Jerry Green teams

His resume is light years ahead of Pearl's.

In terms of what? Overall record? Conference championships? Tournament appearances? Tournament wins?

He may be good a rebuilding programs, but, for whatever reason, he hasn't won.

Partially because he took over some serious crap.

Maybe he should be more selective in the type of job he accepts. Or maybe he should stick around longer on those jobs.

The fact Kevin has been in the League speaks volumes.

I'm sure it looks good on a resume, but so does actually winning.

Serious question: Do you know why O'Neill didn't keep any of those NBA jobs longer than one year?
