Quit bringing Fulmers name into the fold. He was an above average coach for a period of time and the game passed him by. He is NOT qualified for the position of AD nor is he qualified to do much else than rep for an investment firm. We had a qualified canidate in Blackburn who would have given is all for Tennessee, but good ole Cheek... and there lies the problem.

At first I was skeptical about a Gator Cheek, Fem Martin and to pile on a Bammer running the athletic program. Then I got to thinking, we would be stealing someone that Bama really wants to stay and if they want him to stay bad enough, they will pay through their crooked noses to keep him. I also saw elsewhere on this board, lord knows if it is true, that Hart really handled the academic Nazis in his past positions. We need someone at UT that can do that for sure. There is nothing I can do about it anyway, so I will just wait and see. :popcorn:

Because he coddles rogue boosters. He's an AD that a Lane Kiffin type coach would love to play for. At FSU grades were fixed, professors/teachers/instructors that didn't comply didn't get players in their classes. He's an NCAA nightmare waiting to happen.

Are you kidding me? This is the worst logic I have ever heard. If anything it must sting those schools to see us convert their people to orange and white. This isn’t 7th grade. If anything, we’re hurting their programs by taking away key members.

Was the FSU stuff actually brought up and potentially program crushing, and didn't occur due to the statute of limitations? Or is it just... possible that stuff happened?

Yeah, he really handled the Academic Naizs in his position at FSU.

The TWO YEARS worth of wins that were vacated because of academic dishonesty under his watch and Hart's subsequent termination really showed them. That Hart's quite the catch.

This is an idiot hire.

I don't care who we hire as long as he or she turns us into Bama or Florida in football and Kentucky in basketball and LSU when it comes to baseball in terms of results. I don't care if we wear baby pink unis with a slight touch of orange lace as long as we win.

Tradition means jack crap nothing if we're mediocre or losing.

Brought up by who? NCAA? Media? NCAA knows about it but its not a court of law. Waste of time now to follow up.
