The Truth about Juan Jennings?

It really doesn’t matter how true Jenning’s insta-rant was. You just can’t take to social media in a profanity laced tirade with those truths in an effort to embarrass your coaches and university.

The real stupidity of Jennings is how bad he is hurting his own draft stock. He has company with Baker Mayfield. Maturity matters, and NFL scouts take notice.

"your coaches"

lol

I think you mean "Interim head coach Brady Hoke" and Butch's hooligans. His intent was obvious... bring BETTER coaches to Tennessee.

Jennings made it about the players at Tennessee...asked UTAD to bring in a real coaching staff...and now you turn around make it about his draft stock?

lol again

nice post fade

You mean you prefer to let your beliefs fit your agenda even though there is more than one source updating his issues from the past.

If you’re waiting for Currie to drag him through the mud publicly with his past issues then your beliefs will stay the same.

Sorry if I missed the other source... who is it? all Ive heard is some guy who claims to be Brandon Johnsons uncle (no conflict of interest there) claim Jennings was a troublemaker, a cancer to the team etc.

Like I said, until someone with some brass comes out and says it outright Ill remain indifferent. you guys letting some sports blogger mold your opinions on Jennings is pretty sad.

BTW, you’re insane if you don’t think this will get brought up when he’s evaluated as a draft pick. Any GM will wonder if Jennings is going to pop off on social media if he’s unhappy with his contract, his playing time, his QB not getting him the ball, etc. Dont be so naive.

Lol... ooooorr the truth comes out about how Butch ran his team and how is errand boys who followed him ran it.

Like I said, I'll remain indifferent. Call me insane if you want, I wouldnt expect anything less than you. I think its kind of funny that you bring up the guys draft stock when, to me, all he did was say the obvious, pointing fingers at Butch's buddies and our incompetent coaching staff...

Jennings was hurt most of the year... him not being on the sidelines under who a HC who may very well be a sycophant... yeah that doesn't bother me a bit. If anything, him not being on the sidelines look worse for Butch than it does Jennings.

I hope the truth comes out about Jones as well as Jennings. I'm sure everyone feels the same way.

After reading your defense of Jennings, I was sure you were being sarcastic.....until I realized you weren’t.

"defense" lol

Just said Ill remain indifferent. It's a he said she said deal. "Sources have said" is one of the biggest hook, line and sinkers in sports journalism. Have fun believing in an imaginary voice. Ill wait until its confirmed to cast my shade.

So apparently all you gotta do to create an inflammatory article these days is write up your thing then say "a source said".

That's really all it takes.

Not saying I believe it isnt true, but ******, Jennings manned up and said his peace - said what all Vol fan were thinking, albeit in a very offhand way. Got dismissed for it the day before turkey day no less. If you don't got the brass to be named as a source or to name your source, your article looks like nothing more than either a) a click bait article or b) a hit piece to make UT look better about their already struggling public image. Either way, it's probably both.

Until someone with some brass comes forward and confirms it as true, I'll not care what some glorified sports blogger says "his source" says. Yall can call him a thug all you want, but that dude showed more passion than most everyone on our roster and his dismissal came at a very strange time.

If yall wanna take the word of some 2012 graduate from Mizzou, that's up to yall. I prefer to remain indifferent about it since the timing of Jennings dismissal was ... how should we say ... ill-timed?

Timing of JJ’s rant was PERFECT tho. Waits a few days and he’s most likely the new coach’s problem. Keeping it realzzzz. :cool2:

You mean when the confidential source is REVEALED? When did journalists start doing that?

He will go to another school and ball out. All the while we will be stuck with WRs that suck dog turds. Then many will be saying how they wished we had him back.

Get back on topic. This thread is about Juan being a Jabroni.

Good Google work, and thanks for telling me what my thread is about; however, I never called Juan (or as some prefer--Jauan) a Jabroni, or anything else.

I just know he apparently refused to be present on the sidelines after his injury, even though it was obviously causing an issue with his teammates (Ethan Wolfe), and doing damage to his coaching staff, who were his superiors in this situation.

I also know he has had disciplinary issues in the past and is pretty much known to be a 'problem' type of player.

It's not at all hard for me to believe he reached his final tripping point with Currie, who has every right to tell him to get lost.

Could you please do a spell check for me? Thanks.

I saw a lot of opinions regarding Jennings and his instagram. A lot of posters talking about how he should never have been dismissed by an interim, including Mr. Rucker and others.

Truth is, it usually takes a couple of days for the real story to come out. Fact is, Mr. Jennings has always been a loose cannon and a drag to team attitude and focus. In other words, he was a bad seed. Currie made the right decision.

Report: Tennessee WR Jauan Jennings left practice after he wasn't allowed to play QB

Just so much more ass covering bs by those who are too big of p..ssies to say this stuff beforehand.

Pathetic piling on after the fact...

I'm saying it now...

If ya'll think choir boys win championships you're living in denial.

Why was it so great when Jack Reynolds loses his mind after a game but a player now gets pissed and puts in on social media and he's a thug?

Some of the guys we had playing between 1995 and 2002 would make JJ look like a saint.

Hacksaw skips the Bel Air and instead pisses on Dickey’s doorstep and cusses him out on the radio? Would have been out the door in a nanosecond.

With all due respect, butchna, Hacksaw probably should have been kicked off with his antics. On the other hand, back then stories came out about what happened months after. It became something to laugh at.

These guys choose to get on social media immediately, because it makes them feel like stars. There are repurcussions that can come with that.

Things are just differenet now. Lots of negatives with that, lots of positives, I guess.
