The Trump Lie Running Tally Thread

Honestly, I don't think much of these chance meetings at re emotions and what not. Easy to forget. I mean, the man must meet 1000 people a day when campaigning.

It's the planned meetings by staffers and the hints about backing off sanctions as a favor for trashing Clinton that are worth looking into.

Right I agree it's just comical at this point.

It has become about proving he lied on a petty point. He's lying about big stuff enough that this is unnecessary.

You know that people once caught in a lie will keep digging a bigger hole to cover it up. He is almost to China.

As long as the right wing echo chamber constantly struggles to find ways to justify his lies, and fail to hold him to account for it, he won't stop.

They need to put People before the Party but the Party itself has engaged in misinformation so they seem stuck in the flypaper.

Will the right ever admit that 1) he's a pathological liar, and 2) they are so happy to have pulled off the upset in November that they don't care?

The situation is just so sad, at this point. It used to mean something to be President. Now? It's a job a half wit carnival barker can get as long as he can fool enough people with some sleight of hand.

I remember being told this about Bush 43.

When you get sad, remember that it could have been Cruz. When he was in the primary hunt he was the worst guy ever.

Im sorry your liar didn't win, LG.

The problem is that, at some point in the next four years, he's going to need the trust of the American people. Whether it's a preemptive strike on North Korea, a showdown with ISIS, troops scurrying off to somewhere ...

He'll need credibility and trust, and he will have squandered both on picking pointless fights and making blatantly false claims.

It's a shame, really. He could have directed all this energy to significant policy reform, rather than waste it defending his own ego.

We need a thread to keep track of Trump's many ongoing fraudulent statements. It's a full-time job, really. But we can start here with his claims about U.S. taxes being the highest in the world. Wrong! Damn, what a surprise.

Highest corporate tax rate in the world. That's why American businesses have $2 trillion in profits overseas.
