Wife flies out next Tuesday for seven weeks to Germany.

Yep. When you pay $1,500 a ticket you drag it out. This trip is a bit longer than most because it's probably last year son can go over for that amount of time to spend with his grandparents and German side of this family. He starts high school next year.

If they have Bavarian type food then try:

Jaegerschnitzel
Bratwurst with Sauerkraut
Weisswurst with sweet mustard (Breakfast)
If they have potato dumblings (Knoedl) you need to try. These are hit and miss on how they make them in the USA.

Rainy day here. Ran at lunch and may try to run tonight. Lost 17 pounds so far but still need to lose at least another 10 to 20.
