Just talked to one of my friends that is.. excuse me... was a delivery driver for Hostess. He was telling me all about the down fall of the company. Pretty ridiculous that 2k workers can cost 18k people their jobs.

Bought a turkey. Love going to mom-in-law's for Thanksgiving but never have leftovers. So I'm making my own today. :)

I just got home. I've been up since 6:45 yesterday morning. Been shopping with my wife, my dad, and then my wife again since 9pm last night. I'm out.:gone:

Kohls was easy today, nothing like belk last night. Kevins parents are coming out after Christmas, so they can bring all of our stuff since they are driving, otherwise we would have not gone out. It was fun, but that's enough. Going to cut down our Christmas tree tomorrow.

Going old school!! I want to do that one time in my life. We have had live trees before but we have never gone out and cut our own.

Sounds like an awesome time Windy!! Glad the trip went so well.

We did a little shopping this morning. Wasn't bad since we waiting til 9:30 to leave the house.

Turkey's in the oven. Have a broccoli casserole that I fixed yesterday, along with sweet potato souffle (made too much of both so only took one each with us). I'll fixed mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. No dressing. But I do have canned cranberry sauce! (We didn't have any yesterday. :( )

Growing up that's what we always did after we ate of thanksgiving, then spent Friday decorating. When I went on my own I've always done fake, I miss the real, so now that Kevin and I live together its time to chop it down. One reason I want to chop it down is because I prefer the Virginia pine over the firs.

C'mon over! There's gonna be plenty! :eek:lol: First time since I married Tony that I'll have leftovers!! I'm already making my list of everything I wanna do with the turkey. And number one is a big turkey sammich to eat right after the Vol Walk!! :dance2:

We had real tress up until I was about seven or eight but we always went and bought them. I have had fake trees ever since then.

My favorite thing to do too. Piece of cheese and some mayo.... can't beat it.
