We had hog jaw (that's what they call it anyways), collards, black eyed peas, mac and cheese, and potates.

I fried some hog jowl and streak o lean yesterday as well. Love it on a biscuit.

Glad I'm not the only one that had to fry pig face. Hubby only gets it once a year. The rest of our dinner was a pork roast, collard greens, blackeyed peas, mashed potatoes and slaw.

Tonight is:

Pulled pork (either on a bun or plate)
Choice of mashed potatoes or fries
Collard Greens
Blackeyed Peas
Slaw

Nope, sounds like a good idea though. we have had a decipleship class for the church as a whole, but not specifically for the young men.

I'm thinking of approaching our deacons about starting one. Our kids 5th grade and younger attend church up until the sermon each week then we pull them for a lesson/activity. However on the 5th Sunday they stay in the whole service. On those Sundays I'd like to see if they couldn't help with the offering/offeratory prayer, handing out bulletins etc. maybe staying in the sound room to see how that works. Idk.
