woke up in a good mood because my son was coming home this morning. Hard to stay upset

also 1 week down and 5 left until I can walk again. Stitches out Tuesday. Woohoo

Morning. It is time to throw on a VOLS shirt and head to work. I talked a lot of crap so I guess it is time to suck it up now.


Volly, I expect to hear more trash from the Aubies than the Florida fan at work. How about you.

Morning pubsters! Rough weekend! I gotta say, I love Dooley and I think he is good for the program and respesents it well, but I just don't know if he is going to be able to make it here. I keep trying to have faith in him because I want him to work out here but after Saturday nights game I am just not sure any more. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt last year because of what he walked into but after three years of recruiting I would have thought we would be more competive in the second half of SEC games.

Other notes, it was nice to meet Kappin on Saturday wish he was able to tail gate longer with us but maybe next time. And during the game Saturday I had a Vol, yes a Vol fan tell me I need to sit down. When I didn't he decided to go tell on me like a four year old to an usher and the usher told him there wasn't anything he could do to make me sit down and that I had paid for my seat just like he had paid for his. The fan came back later and apologized. I told him it was ok and that we were both trying to enjoy the game but in different ways.

I'm with you buddy! I have been on the Dooley train but I am questioning him now. If he could just keep his teams heads right he would do ok. The way I see it is last week accoplished one of two things. Tennesse will come out of this thing ready to fail and end up with a bad season orrrrrrrrr.....they pick themselves up and prove to be a dangerous force in college football. We will see over the next few weeks.

None of my co-workers have started talking trash yet. I think they all know I am a sore loser, lol.

:hi: See this is where I am stuck, I am still not sure if it's time for a new coach or not. After Saturday I am a lot closer to thinking it is time than I was before the game started.

p.s.-I know that there are lots of thread on the FF about this but I just can't post of there right now. Too many people that want to start fights and take things personally. I would much rather talk it out with my friends in the Topic who are a lot easier going.

:hi:Back to work.

We got home adn picked up the kids last night adn Nat was complaining about her stomach hurting. She ended up being up till three throwing up adn now has a high temp. Chance wakes up tis morning adn cant talk very good. He said his throat didn't hurt but when my wife looked and his throat is red with a bunch of white spots.:dunno:

I think the fact that Dooley is such a good guy is the reason why I can't seem to get fully on board with getting another coach. I think he represents the University well and is a good face for the program, but if you can't win in big games all that doesn't matter.

Dooley is a stand up individual. However, the problem is that he doesnt have the moxy to take us to the next level. There is no excuse for second half meltdowns on the scale that happens in Tennessee. I think what will happen, barring an even worse season than last year, Chaney will be gone and a new OC will be brought in.
