i hear yah bro. i had 3 furlough days on my last check, so i am feelin it this month. looks like this weekend will be ramen

It's gonna be rough around here for a while. My wife isn't going back to work untill school starts back and doesn't have enough days to finish out the school year. She does have short temr disability but it only pays for 6 weeks. Luckily we got a decent return to hold us over. We are still unclear if she gets paid through the summer. We can't get a direct yes or no from anybody.

yah, im pretty pissed at my school system as well. I was supposed to get like 250 bucks for babysitting the gym during the winter for rec basketball. well i was told at first i would get paid this week. Well turns out, which i was like ok that wont be bad, ill get paid again in 2 weeks, well, now i wont get it till it goes through payroll and is on my next check. Which freakin sucks because that amount will be taxed based upon my entire check, not exactly what i made doing that. SO basically i worked the gyms to pay taxes for working them. so effing GAY!

You want me to tell you something funny about my wife's school system. The super is stepping down at the end of the school year but the school board gave him the ok to do budget cuts for next year. This includes getting rid of positions/programs adding furlough days.... It should be interesting to say the least.

Yeah, not the brightest idea. Give a hammer and a saw to somebody that doesn't care or have to stick around to deal with it.
