DB was our biggest rival back in my day, I was a Sullivan Central man myself, I played alot of football on that field, of course it wasn't turf then just real grass same as us common folk in the county school system had. Very interesting ending to the game with McMinn as I understand it, was the kids kickoff return as great as I've heard it described ?

Possibly the best I have seen under those conditions. How that kid stayed inbounds is beyond me. Funny the last time I was at DB the only highlight of the game was Jajuan Smith returning a KO 102 yards.

Any prospects the Orange could use off either team ? Hell, who am I kidding TN could use a good Pop Warner star at this point.

NISS!!!!! How are you, girl?!? I have missed you!!!

Hey 85! How's it going girlie? I'm ok, I've missed the nation! I was just talking about you last night, hahaha, well, I was talking about all the girls that I know on here and our personalities b/c another girlfriend of mine was asking about Volnation. She's a Penn State fan, and shows absolutely ZERO class or respect when talking about UT. I told her it made me not like her as much during football season, :birgits_giggle: Such a witchy witch! How's the boy?

I didn't get to see enough of the DB runningback he got hurt and that probably cost them the game besides DB's coach taking that safety which was very bush league in the way it happened. McMinn has a hell of a kicker but it was mostly just good HS talent out there.

Didn't know you were a Blountville area man. As a Tenn. High grad, I grew up hating DB. BTW THS is still in the playoffs.

DB has a great band program, but as far as marching ability, THS almost always beat them in competition in my and my kids days. Both mine were in band.

I played alot of football in the Stone Castle as well, spent alot of time in Bristol too, dated a girl from there. I was born and raised in the Cooks Valley area near Indian Springs and attended Blountville in the 7th grade and Holston in the 8th.

My business was on 126 in Indian Springs not far from Cooks Valley Rd., about 1/2 mile from Greenwood Market.

Then I used to pass it everyday, ate many a burger and tenderloin biscuit from Greenwood, still grab one when I'm out that way playing golf or visiting my parents.

Will be driving to Louisiana for Thanksgiving. Hope to leave next Friday/Saturday. If work gets in the way then not until the Monday after.

Will you have a banjo on your knee?

It rained all day the night I left,
the weather it was dry.

The sun was so hot, I nearly froze myself,
Suzannah don't you cry.

I like beer in a bottle,
I like beer in a can.

I like beer in a mug
cold in my hand.

at the local mall
