A very early appt at my spa and then the car place for maintenance... Now the work begins and I'm so sleepy!!!! FYI, those iced coffee things at McDonalds are HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. At least the caramel one is... sickning!!!

Man, just got an email that a really good friend of mine was arrested for something I can't believe he would do. This guy was basically my mentor for 4 years and even got me my current job. I really feel like I just got kicked in the crotch.

Plus the dog has to have surgery so that's nice too. All this info in the span of about 30min so my day is pretty much ruined.

Anything with coffee is horrible. :p

Windy, you and I are like my twins. If I like something there's like a 90% chance you are gonna hate it and vice versa :eek:lol: We fight horrible when we fight, but when we play nice and get along, everyone is happy! :eek:lol::eek:lol:

PJ, sorry about your pup, that is bad news. I hope everything is well with him.

And totally being sensitive, what did your friend do to get arrested?

Well I just hate coffee! Tried it once, did not like it! Went to Dunkin Donuts one day for their free ice coffee thing thinking I might like that, add a little flavor, nope, still nasty!


...now hot chocolate...:)

If he doesn't want to say that's fine, I was just offering a shoulder or an ear. Lots of people come on the nation and drop hints that they had a bad day or something not so great happen with the hopes that someone gives a crap and they can unload to a group of folks that they don't have to look in the eye. Everyone knows it's easier to talk to strangers, that's why therapists are so $$$$$$$.

We'll just say he is an amazing guy but doesn't hold his alcohol very well at all (but he wasn't driving). He's not a mean drunk at all just affectionate and not very aware of his surroundings.

Just one of those things I guess and he'll just need support to get through it.

And we all know you are being nosey! It's okay. :p No really, it easier sometimes to vent to others you feel like you know enough, but won't be as tough on you as family, friends, etc. would.

It is at first surprising the sincere concern shown by the members of the Nation, but I do believe the concerns voiced are real. The therapeudic value alone is worth being a member.

Well, that sucks for him. I know I have done some stuff that is colossally stupid viewed after the fact. I have been fortunate not to have hurt anyone or gotten arrested.

I wish your friend the best. He is lucky to have good supportive friends like you.

Niss, me and Alison drink those all the time, we have been out and about in the late evening(the only time she has after the boys go down) and will swing thru McDonalds to grab one. I am an avid coffee drinker, even my nephews ask me if I come up to drink there daddy's coffee now, when I pop in on them.
