Sorry, you aren't that lucky. :eek:lol:

Eh. We had more speeches today, I was not expecting anything, but sure enough he handed out papers that we had to interpret and read. He said I read too fast and that the piece should have been slow as if the person is being timid based on what was said. Oh well.

And my teacher he was being a prick. We have our interpretive readings thursday and tuesday, and I'm supposed to go on Thursday since he is starting at the end of the alphabet with our last names, but I went to him after class saying I would not be there because I'm leaving town tomorrow to go to Charleston for a wedding, and he was like well you should have said something earlier so that you could have switched with someone. Luckily there were about 3 others waiting to talk to him after class and one boy said he would switch.

I gave you a speech that received an A, should have gone with it.

I didn't have a choice in the speech! He handed it to us and we had to read it. Would you like to see it? :p

Sure, that would be interesting, seriously.

This is going to be awful!

"I remember feeling this way when I was a little girl. I would wake up at night terrified of the dark. I'd thing taht sometimes my bed was on the ceiling and the whole house was upside down. And if I didn't hang onto the mattress, I might fall outward to the stars. I wanted to run to my father and have hime tell me I was safe that everything was all right. But I was always more frightened of him than I was of falling. It's the same way now."

Yes I had to read this. I can't help it, I always read fast, its just a nervous habit I guess!

And no he didn't write it, it is from Inherit the Wind.

All the guys were given a pages of male's read. to read, and the girl's were given female scripts to read.

This is one that another girl had to read it's hilarious:

"You don't think I can stand the sight of blood, is it that? Oh, how I'd love to see your brains on that chopping block. I'd love to see the whole of your sex swimming in a sea of blood. The way I feel I could drink out of your skull. I could eat your heart roasted whole. You think I'm Weak! My father will come home find his money stolen! He'll send for the sheriff and I'll tell him everything. Then there'll be peace and quiet forever."
