Sucks. My dad got a job in Colorado when I was 13 and had to commute every week until we all moved out there. It wasn't very fun.

Being employed is better then alternative but away from family sucks. Hate it for you.

She is supportive of me staying employed.:)

She works, too. We are probably going to have to find some sort of part time "nanny" to help with kid drop off in the morning and swim and dance lessons.

If this truly lasts only 2 or 3 months, I will survive. Any longer than that and I will have to reevaluate my options.

If I can find a decently inexpensive place to stay, this may actually be a bit of a financial plus for me due to a per diem being paid, but I'd still rather have the family time.
