What's up?
The company that I work for is a small sub-contract design company that has maxed out it's capacity for people at its office. I have been working offsite at another aircraft company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area the past 6 months or so.

The word came down last week that the company that I have been doing the work for is cutting back and all the people from my company are out of here at the end of the month.

Our company has been giving us lip service that they want to retain us, but there is no room at the inn right now and all the opportunities being floated within the company are going to involve me living away from my family for an indeterminate time. (a couple of months?) The opportunity to travel home on the weekends may be a possibility.

If the industry were more robust right now in town, I would quickly jump ship and go to Lockheed or Bell, but times are fairly lean in aerospace in DFW. Being a contract engineer has its crappy moments.

final four: ut, kansas, texas, ucla. ucla and ut in the finals. and your victor....the university of tennessee volunteers.

i swear if we play to our full potention we could pull this out with a few upsets.

OE, I'm struggling with that same one. I think if they get past that then they can definitely beat UNC and make it to the final four, now beating Kansas, not so much....

Am sure it will work out Vader. You're right, the Defense contracting business is fickle. I'm in the same business. There is work out there which may require just a badge flip and hopefully not a move. Depending on what you prefer.

Wiggles was just coming out when my son was out growing that phase. Wiggles and Telly Tubbies. Thank god that portion of his life has past.

why....just why...

....and why are you admitting it?

I could care less what other people think, I sing kids songs while I am working out.

You should have seen the one day when I was singing a Backyardigans song.....

I'm queen Tasha and I rule the whole back yard......

Just wait Windy. With time and stretch marks, so will you. :)
