what are you looking to get into?

Good question... that's what I'm trying to check out right now. See what the demand is here. My wife really wants to open up some kind of pet speciality shop (i.e. home made treats etc). She talks to a local groomer and says the amount of money being spent in this town spoiling animals is obscene.

I'm just trying to be careful, it's all about the demand for any area. I'd love to buy a franchise, but that ain't happening.

Three Dog Bakery. There is on in Germantown (right outside of Memphis), is apparently a chain. You may be able to franchise in your area.

Edit:
I just looked it up. It's a huge chain. Although I've only ever seen two in my life.

people do spend a lot of money on animals. i couldnt imagine the kind of money petsmart makes, and they're the most overpriced business i've ever seen.

I'll do some investigating, but it'll be awhile before I could do anything. Thanks.

Edit: Cool, thanks again.

Agreed, and you should see Cookeville. These old women out here don't own just mutts, I swear I've never seen anything like it... even in Knoxville.

I was checking out owning an Oreck store, it's a realtively low cost to start up, but they have to approve of it and they say the income level on average for Cookeville is too low.

We can open a mobile hot dog business. The name of it will be winky dinky dog and the tag line will be even the hoes have to eat!
