Without hot peppers, it wouldn't be chilli. I use homegrown red peppers, cayenne pepper, and chilli powder, plus Hungarian paprika. I also use several other spices, and do use onion plus a little fresh garlic. I would divulge all ingrediants, but then I would have to kill you.

then you make REAL chili. You didn't miss anything by not going to Skyline. It's not even close to traditional chili con carne. It's more of sauce.

hate me if you want, solely based on my opinion of Skyline, but it's not traditional chili... i didn't even think they tried to say it was?

I'm joshing Bill.

They don't but from what I could tell you didnt make a fight over if its traditional but that you just hated it.

all my friends LOVE it and to avoid the argument, i eat there, just not a big fan at all. I can handle it on top of hot dogs. the noodle stuff and the on it's own are just too disgusting.

My mom loves kidney beans in her chili.

I'm not a fan...but just because I don't like kidney beans. Otherwise, her chili is amazing.

I thought I was the weird one in the family for not liking the beans. :p
