Independence Day...

Air Force Capt. Steve Hiller[Will Smith]: "I ain't heard no fat lady!"

David Levinson[Jeff Goldblum]: "Forget the fat lady. You're Obsessed with fat lady. Just get us out of here!"

This would work just as well coming from the Air force sideline Saturday...

Wrong again. He was a Marine. He flew an F/A-18. NOT Air Force.

Air Force Week sure has been quiet here at The Nation. I suppose the energy is being held in reserve for Florida week....
Or maybe it's quiet indifference for our country's future officers.

I recommend the "Blonde Ale" from Downtown Grille.
It was really great talking The Nation and The Vols face to face with folks that you're meeting for the first time, yet seem like old friends...

If it happens again, I hope many more will make the effort...

I didn't have a room booked for Friday or a ticket for the game(of the two, the ticket would've been easier to procure) so the Friday night was all I did. Would've liked to catch the 'Gater but just coming off vacation the week before, the budget was not unlimited.
Still, I had a great time and look forward to a repeat performance of the Friday night VolNational Congress!!

BTW... we toasted all of you at the evening's start!
