TO TEAR DOWN THIS DYNASTY OF MEDIOCRITY!!!

CPF HAS BEEN a below, middle-tier SEC coach and the football & athletic admin. has lagged far behind the progressive growth of this rich, storied SEC conference and this University in many, many ways ([proactive NOT reactive] coaching, leadership, discipline, player development, recruiting, etc.). This administration is delaying the inevitable and one day M. Hamilton and CPF will get the shove out the door that they deserved long ago. People have been calling for the plug on CPF's regime even during the '98 season and before (10+years ago)! He simply is an ordinary, average, middle-of-the-road D-1 football coach. This University may be due someone outside the "family".

Clawson's offense is nothing more than bunched, botched formations right now. He may be able to function properly with the right players but that won't happen until a new HC has supplanted CPF. Even at that, UT should welcome with open arms a change at OC if that should happen. There are players here but without player development they will leave as talented as they came in. Few are the exception to the rule (P. Manning, A.Wilson, soon-to-be E. Berry, etc.). The majority of our teams are not developed the way they should be. That all falls on the coaches! We need to totally gut and not just make a few tweaks here and there.

As far as the booing of coaches and players goes, I believe we booed (yes, I was a booer in the stands of UT vs. FLA) at the coaching staff for not having the players prepared. Game management (clock management, player management, fundamentals, whatever you'd like to call it) is and has been horribly atrocious for years! I do not like to believe that we possibly turned a few recruits away from UT because we booed but it stands warranted. The fans deserve better. The players deserve far more better. I would rather see a few players (J. Nunes, M. Brown, etc.) go somewhere where they can excel and not be delayed/hampered as a player. I do not and will not cheer to see a few players come to UT and have CPF ride their coattails for several more years of mediocrity. It is his time to go. Why are people unable to accept that? I don't understand it...

I would rather see UT hit rock bottom and rebuild this football team than to ride the waves of mediocrity. My blood runs deep orange and has since birth when my dad pinned a "Beat Bama" button on me in the hospital. I am all for the UT tradition but this non-sense of looking at our current coaching staff with orange-colored sunglasses and sipping the orange kool-aid prepared by CPF has gone on long enough. Someone take the blinders off of everyone that thinks that CPF and Hamilton have achieved beyond one lucky season of 1998.

Things are bad, yes. The program does not have a chance to get turned around until Fulmer goes. The good news is that we only have 9 more games to endure with him at the helm.
