This year, it would've been South Carolina vs...no one, because the Pac-10 (taking USC out of the equation) only sent four teams to bowl games and two of them are in the BCS.
So...South Carolina vs. Arizona, maybe? Wouldn't be the worst thing I've seen.
I still don't see why the PAC 10 will have 9 conference games... All it does is make it mathematically harder to get more teams bowl eligible. Posted via VolNation Mobile

It'd never happen. Big Ten/Pac 10 has too deep a history in that game.
That being said... I'd love it. And agree with this whole thread. I was really hoping the Pac-10's new bowl with expansion might be an SEC Tie-In but no luck.
The only reason I thought of maybe El Paso or New Mexico (or maybe even San Antonio) would be that it would probably as close to geographically neutral as possible. But then again, how much of a disadvantage is the Rose Bowl to the Big Ten. But I was trying to think of ways that travel wouldn't be an issue. That would seem to exclude places like Cali and Florida.
