are actually discussing whether or not The Fired Coach should run for office. I defy anyone to find a more pathetic show in all of America. They are an embarrassment to their families and their employer.

No kidding hat...I don't even listen to it anymore...

And it's a shame cause there's nothing I would enjoy more than a decent duscussion on anything related to our football team on my way to work...but instead I get the unintelligible nonsense that is the morning show

What's more depressing is that you can't go to the program director to complain...HE'S THE WORST ONE ON THAT SHOW!!!

Their employer isn't embarrassed. Essentially, since Mickey is the head of sports programming or whatever it is at The Animal, the employer is actually sanctioning this crap.

Now, they're extolling the virtues of the talent of Paula Abdul. They are utterly without value. I'm glad I'm about to leave the restaurant where they have this idiocy playing.

I actually flipped that over there right at the moment where Jacoby and Dearstone said Fulmer didn't drag his feet leaving...

That was my cue to turn it. I still don't know why I even flip over there in the mornings... I guess it's like watching a train wreck, you just have to look.

Listening to Heather is and all of her glorious knowledge is about as much fun as listening to finger nails across a chalkboard.

They are awful. I haven't listened to them in months. Football season will probably have me tuning in because of player and coach interviews, but those 3 are plain terrible.

I despise the show so much I moved to Chattanooga. But sports radio isn't much better down here though.

Sadly she's probably the best one of that incompetent group.

I feel sorry for you guys that are subject to Knoxville Sports Talk Radio. About this time last year, in what I could best describe as a fit of nostalgia and longing for home, I tuned in for a week. Dang its bad. The sports radio here is very good, especially in comparison; you'd think Knoxville could do better.

Anyone who wonders about the evils of the corporatization of radio and newspapers need only listen to those three wastes of oxygen to get educated. Typical show: Dearstone hijacks a discussion by interjecting something about Pat Summitt or his golf game, Jacoby talks about how fat he and his wife used to be and that they now use hormone therapy to get frisky, Harrington babbles about something she knows nothing about, and West tries to actually add substantive comments and gets drowned out by the tsunami of stupidity.

I like no matter how painful they are to listen to, people still do. I admit I'm one of them. As annoying as their show, their comercials, their stupid intros (which by the way last 8 minutes) I still find myself listening to them on my way to the office.

I live out of state and listen to them on the internet at work....The sad thing is, they make good money to do this.....trust me though where I live, its not much better. I live in a pro sports town and all they do is talk about a crappy NFL team that never makes the playoffs all year long.....Its like sports doesn't exist outside this city

Not really. There are janitors in Knoxville making more than Heather Harrington.

Yeah. I was a radio personality for a station in Knoxville that has much higher ratings than WNML. Trust me...the money isn't that great. Actually, the money is why I left about a year ago.

It really is the sports show about nothing...........

A caller asks Mickey a question that to me has an obvious answer and his forst response is to say "Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh...........I'm not sure, let me check."

you're right about that. that God for the internet. at least now chattanooga has 105.1 epsn radio. they have local talk show in afternoon. it's a better alternative to the crap on 102.3.

I tune in for about 5 minutes about once a month, just to make sure the show is as terrible as I remember. It always is, and I turn it off immediately. Funny thing is, I can't figure out which is worse: the clowns on air, or the clowns that have 30 extra minutes a morning to waste while on hold to talk to them.

It's really too bad that we don't have anything sports-related worth listening to in K-town...especially with a new era of football only a month away!

I like the KNS show at 10. Some good interviews during the season. I have not listened in a while but Basilio had a good show when I was in Kville a few years ago
