Jalen Hurts , same as Eason. The Ga QB is a transfer, Justin Fields. I am sure if someone cared enough to do the homework you would find plenty. Get a hold of BeardedVol, he seems to be pretty good at research.

I seem to remember him doing the exact same thing against Florida a few years ago when he missed the TE wide open Down the middle of the field. With JG there were never any guarantees other than needing a full bottle of Tums near you every time he took the field.

Provide the proof.

JGs first 2 games as a starter was Vandy and LSU in 2017. Stats were 27-45 422 yards 3 TDs and 1 INT.

Joe Miltons stats in 2 games: 18-35 189 yards 1 TD and 0 INTs.

Kyler Murray threw for 5 TDs and 7 INTs in 2015 at Texas A&M before he transferred to Oklahoma... he does not apply in this situation. Successful QBs transferring are very rare.

He seems hell-bent to introduce a dual threat QB at Tennessee, but his scheme seems built for a sharpshooter more than a track star. It would be nice to have both, but delivering the ball accurately is the bread and butter that makes his offense go. I really hope he doesn't overlook Bailey.

I like HB……but our O line was very up and down. What scares me is whether we’re capable of running the ball right now if you take the qbs legs out of the equation.

Once we get buttoned up from a schematic standpoint and get some consistency up front maybe that changes, but right now I don’t think we can run the ball against and SEC front without QB run being a real threat.

Then again maybe a more efficient passing game opens up the run game.

When offenses can’t successfully throw the ball, defenses load the box to stop the run. Answer? You have to throw the ball to run the ball, and you have to run the ball to throw the ball.

Ding ding ding! RBs can run the ball but only one guy on the field who can pass it.
