Making up attacks to support a personal stance is a minor issue?

In the grand scheme of things? Yes. Kind of sad that you and the other libtards just cannot grasp things. Why do you care so much about what Trump says? I really dont care what he says. I care much more about his actions.

Funny considering guys like you took the most basic things Obama would say and claim he was a lying SOB and threw a freakin' hissy fit, and here we have your boy and his team outright lying to most certainly push an agenda and you claim it was an innocent goof; then you double down and have the nerve to claim the other side is lying to fit their purposes.

Amazing.

It's amazing.

It was also amazing to see the Liberals meltdown over Bush then either stay silent or defend Obama doing the same stuff.

It just happens to be the Right's turn to do mental gymnastics defending Trump and for Liberals to remember their principles and critical analysis.

Do you guys remember the endless threads about Obama when he thought there were 57 states? I mean we all knew it wasn't a slip of the tongue but something he actually believed in...

Remember how we argued it to be the end of the world that we had a president that was that stupid that he actually didn't know there were only 50 states? Remember how we brought up his hardline islamic schooling as being proof that he was not only a muslim but he didn't get western geography? Member?

You may find this hard to believe, but there are still some people left who actually care what their leaders say and in holding them accountable, not merely having them tickle their wee little ids.

This "words don't matter and only actions do" argument is inconsistent and completely flawed.

1) Under this ridiculous notion, none of us are to ever criticize a single phrase that Obama has said or interpret it as a tool to form an opinion toward his ability to lead the nation (because words do not matter). I am not talking about actions, but simply words that Obama has said. They are irrelevant under this logic. You cannot make an argument against Obama or any other individual of similar stature based on what they have said if you truly believe words are not important. But here we are, in a world of hypocrisy in which you can evidently see on many threads on this board in which many individuals have mocked statements from Obama, completely contradicting the common themed argument that "words do not matter" that many have them have used in reference to their defense on Trump’s outlandish statements and behavior. Now in reference to Obama, of course many are criticizing his actions as well, but that doesn't shy away from the fact that people will continue to bring up the "57 states" issue. This isn't directed specifically to you, but I am fairly certain that the same people who are criticizing statements from Obama are also claiming that words do not matter in reference to Trump. This may seem like an insignificant and exaggerated issue I may have brought up, but this is a major problem. This contradictory behavior among the masses is quite disturbing

2) I will tell you why I personally do believe that words obviously matter. To say communication, one of the most important skills as a human, is not entirely important in the grand scheme of things is not something that I can agree with. Events have occurred whether law or an executive order has been passed. His words do have consequences in the grand scheme of things. People’s opinion toward Trump domestically and internationally affect this country’s future. A leader who has crippled his credibility with careless misinformed statements, childish behavior, and poor public speaking skills does impact any “action” that is said to come. Action’s didn’t get Trump elected, words did.

Again i will ask, as i did about a week ago in a different thread, what do you suggest I do about President Trumps alleged follies? How do I hold him "accountable?

Fine by me. Hold him accountable all you want. Whats it going to accomplish? Nothing. All it will do is just give liberals like you more things to come on to an internet message board and increase your ecred with.

Like I said, I think actions speak louder than words.

Contact your state reps and your congressional reps.

Don't vote for any who don't hold him accountable in 2018 or 2022.

Also, you can contact media sources about their coverage and pandering to Trump associates. In other words, media sources that are normalizing this sort of behavior.

Do you truly believe that there are patriots in congress, or the media? There is no accountability Professor, none.
Like it or not, it's simply
all bread and circuses. The Plebeians feeding at the trough of the almighty R or D while Washington burns.

With the Clinton's it was a fee for all.

t-rump voters don't know $hit. Clinton and gingrich passed welfare reform, they called "it welfare to workfare". Public assistance programs are about 2% of the budget. Someone post a graph chart now.

Partisanship before the needs of this country, and the gop has been the most partisan sine 2012. There are 40 repubs in the House who disagree with there fellow partisans and refuse to compromise on anything. Hard to get anything done.

What's your point?

And therefore, Trump?

Is that it?
