Well, right now the bama fans are the ones we are seeing. Ten years ago they were wearing UT or UGA or Auburn or whatever. I have no respect for that no matter what colors you are wearing. Anyone who supports the winning team only to move on to the next team once they start losing really isn't a fan of anyone. They're just a fan of trash talking other fanbases.

Alabama, because that’s how I was raised and how it is.
I understand “change & progress” for exactly what it is, but will always put emphasis on “history & tradition” (something many programs lack, or conceal).
Football, aside from being the greatest game in life, is cyclical (whats up will be down and visa versa, and it will require work, and leadership, but will happen).
Strap it up fellas, the worm is turning in Knoxvilke, and we will once again build our program to not only compete, but win these games (I’ve lived long enough to know it with certainty).

While I think Bama is the more historical rival and they have some annoying fans, I have to go with UGA. I live in South Georgia and its a nightmare when they win and a nightmare when they lose. Listening to their fans UGA should have won every Natty since 2001.

1. Florida. Most obnoxious white trash fans in the the SEC. Spurrier. I'm also from there originally, so then there is that.
2. Georgia. I still remember cups of piss being thrown at me going into the stadium in '98. Screw them.

I hate Alabubba but since I live in Fl it has to be the gators. I love it when we beat UF in any sport. I would love to beat both teams this year and any other time we play.

I once drove through Gainesville after getting off I75 and hated myself for a month...

Alabama. I used to not mind Alabam as much, but i hate Saban and his followers. All the Alabama fans that weren’t Alabama fans when they sucked for 15 years.

I live in the Memphis area, so it's Alabama for me. There seem to be as many bama fans as UT fans around here and it bothers me. I was a freshman at UT in 2001, so FL is up there for me too.

Floriduh. Maybe is the vol glasses I wear, but I feel like during the 90's we had more raw talent, but they won almost every year. We got outcoached a lot!

I've been to 3 games in Gainesville. Once to the "Gator Bowl vs Va Tech, 1995 Tennessee game, 1993 FSU game.
At the UT game the soft top of my jeep was cut with razor blades.......and they won. The only distinguishing feature was my TN State license plate.
93 FSU game....that was a scary place that day. Glad I made it out.
Only good thing about Gainesville was the "Puple Porpoise" bar......and it's gone.

How is this really a question?

I hate the dawgs. I hate their fans, I hate that they finally have a coach that isn’t doing less with more than anyone in the history of the SEC. I hate going to games in Athens. Watching grown men bark at opposing fans brings up a deep, dark rage within me. To hell with Georgia.

The swamp is one of the most evil places in the south. Clueless fans cheering for whatever happens to be passing for entertainment in that cesspool of Gainesville from year to year. I hate every classless jort wearing fan of the gators. I hate that Peyton didn’t beat them. The name Spurrier is forbidden in my house, and will remain so for all time.

But, there is exactly ONE team that is a true rival for Tennessee. BAMA. The third Saturday in October is the ONE day. GAMEDAY. Curse the idiot schedulers who from time to time forget that there is ONE college football game that means more than all others. I don’t think you can be a VOL fan and not hate Bama more than all others. Because being a VOL fan isn’t about who has beaten us more in recent years. It isn’t about who cost us championships. It’s about the history you share with all VOL fans. History that reaches out from the past and pulls you into the orange flames that burn atop the hill. History that makes you a part of every fall Saturday afternoon battle ever fought by the men in orange. History that is forged on Rocky Top. If that history has a beating heart...it beats to the rhythm of pure hatred for Bama. Until the Orange blood quits coursing through my veins, I will hate one team more than all others. The same team my father and grandfather hated, and the team we are preparing to knock off the mountain in the SEC. GO VOLS! BEAT BAMA!

Can we please start football season now?
