Solid win but we will need a full 40 minute effort to beat this next Big 10 squad.

Right? Like Bob and Bert said after the game, even after all that, they never did panic. They stayed poised and got the job done. They almost looked a little TOO relaxed at times, but it worked.
THAT is the coaching part instilled in them...that keeps getting bashed by our message board analysts.

I'm looking at it this way - that was one impressive performance in overtime. Took charge again and dominated when they most needed to. Most teams fold like a tent in overtime after losing the kind of lead we lost. Plus our last 10 games are all against NCAAT teams. We are 7-3 in those 10 games.

Why are most teams that played Sat getting an extra day till Friday to play ...TN and Texas Tech played today and have to play Thur .. Purdue gets extra day prep ... seems some strange scheduling ... some teams get 6 days .. and some 4 like TN and Texas Tech.

I think we've all had some concerns for sometime now. But it's the tournament and any win is a good win. Last year we were sent home this round.

But the problem is. We must play a complete game. Without playing good basketball for two halfs we have gone as far as we are going in this tournament. But with that said it has to be a mental thing, when you have a good lead play the second half just as hard and smart as you did the first half. Don't worry about working the clock, when you have a good shot take it and don't try to work the clock. When we play a complete game we can win it all.

I know I know, entirely different teams. But we beat Purdue last year and they were better last year than they are this year. Elite 8, here we come.

I suspect it has something to do with us only having to travel a few hours north.

There's no problem. We're still in the tournament. Do we need to play a complete game to advance to the Elite 8? Most likely. But if we blow another 25 point lead and still win, I'm fine with it.

If somebody told you we just have to beat Purdue and Oregon (or Virginia) and we’re in the final 4... at the beginning of season - I would take that!

Have to like our reasonable chances.
