Tell us about some of your experiences on the UT campus and around Knoxville. Use a lot of descriptives (i.e., buildings, streets, restaurants, landmarks, topography, etc.). Make us homesick.

why on earth do we feel the need to compare neyland to other stadiums...we are married to heidi klum but for some reason feel the need to check out the girl next door...i'm sure she's nice, but she's no heidi klum. this thread is the equivolent of going out for hamburgers when we have filet mignon at home.

That is fine, thanks. I was just trying to figure out if you are a Troll or just a UT person who prefers UF. There is nothing wrong with that; I just enjoy UT more. Enjoy your visit.

This made me think of something. My grandmother live in Palm beach, fl and turns 80 in june. My mom hates to fly so i'm driving her down. On the way we have to go through gainesville. I think it's something like 4-5 exits. I tried to hold my breath but only made it for 3 of them. guess i gotta start practicing.. egggh hate gaysville.

i've seen ben hill griffin stadium several times in person. its nice, but i'm not going to say its better than neyland. neyland has the historic vibe coming from it that scores plusses in my book.

I'm not a Florida fan. I think I hate Florida just as much as the other posters here. All I was asking is does anyone else think Neyland's exterior and facilities will be nicer than Ben Hill in upcoming years. The inside of the Swamp I think is sort of ratty and the concourses are similar to Neyland's east side. Outside....Swamp. Inside.....Neyland

The exterior to Neyland will be beautiful in the next couple of years.

Neyland is going to be a great sight from the exterior soon. It will fit in well with the campus with the matching brick.

they don't have more money, and the only reason their campus is 'nicer' is because ours is constantly under construction to make ours better.

2010 I think is what the plan says. Don't even get me started on the O'Connell Center :) I actually think that TBA is a lot nicer than OCC before anyway flips a $hit.
