The Supreme Court of the United States Thread

I wouldn't really expect you to be bothered by her saying that the two justices lied to her in order to get confirmed.

But I would expect rational and reasonable people to be bothered.

So you’re just blindly taking the word of a known liar that they lied to her?

This crap again? You came back from hiatus to act like Jesus would be for abortion because other people are poor?

Right over your head.

A reasonable person would not advocate for the product of rape or incest without also advocating for quality healthcare, nutrition, and education after the child is born.

I'm pro life. Pro birth is hypocrisy.

No one is “against” children having healthcare, food or education. That is party line rhetoric

Did you have the same stance when Liberal elected officials in Washington didn't condemn the riots in 2020 in major cities? Or just chalk it up to coincidence?

In a shocking twist, a reply to a post in this forum lacks logical understanding of the original post.

We're not talking about sperm or even a zygote. 99% of abortions are performed on neither, they are performed on partially or mostly formed fetuses. I think birth control abortion is morally wrong, I also believe the nation must have an honest philosophical debate for consensus. But if you can't even admit there is a unique concern in this discussion I'm not sure an intellectually honest conversation is possible.
My position has never changed and leaves all sorts of room for conversation.
A sperm represents potential viable living human.....barely
A fertilized egg represents potential viable living human...barely, but more than a sperm
A six day old embryo represents potential viable living human.....barely, but a little more than a five day old embryo
Each day that passes the potential of a viable living human increases just a tad.
I have never believed there was one magic moment.
I have always maintained that IMO Roe v. Wade was the perfect balancing act.

And here is the farce........ Rather hypocrisy in your statement. Just because you oppose government funded or universal healthcare does not mean you wish to withhold all the above as you imply. It simply means we don't trust government to provide it well or efficiently.

Close your robe, you've exposed yourself!

Cali could make a niche tourist industry out of it.
I've been thinking of making a trip to SF just so I can loot some stuff and not face any consequences. While I'm there, I might as well go to Southern Cal and hit up some trains for Amazon packages before I rent a Hertz car and try to drive home without being arrested for stealing one of their cars.

And together you have science! Trust Science.

Speaking of SCOTUS ethics….why exactly did Justice Kagan not recuse herself from the Obamacare decision, a law she helped craft me defend prior to her nomination. She violated her oath of office when he refused recusal
Then impeach her.
