I like the title to this thread. All those ready to lay down have to relax. Comparing our situation to our competitors isn’t realistic. Smart followed Richt, who averaged 10 wins a year and left a loaded roster. Muschamp followed the Ol’ Ball Coach. Saban is a freak of nature and we don’t know what Mullen has yet. Pruitt is being handed a disaster of a situation, thanks to a car salesman playing the part of a coach, with a make-shift roster and no depth. Anyone who saw Fulmer’s interview during the O&W game knows he hit the nail on the head when he said it’s gonna take some time for Pruitt to recruit the kind of players the Bama and UGA have so we need to temper our expectations. If he’s allowed to stay as long as the car salesman then we can guarantee getting back to UT standards and not being 4-8 in year 5.

Yup. People think 10 years is a long time, bless their hearts. I survived the Battle years. The youngsters still won't get it, perspective often only comes with age, and yeah, I understand that I sound like an insurance commercial, "we know a thing or two cuz we've seen a thing or two".
