It’s a dam good thing we played ETSU and not Southern Illinois. They put up 38 on Ole Miss and over 600 yards of O.

Gooden leading us in tackles is a great thing to see, you don’t see many defensive lineman lead their team in tackles no matter who their playing. I liked what I saw out of him but didn’t realize he had so many tackles. He’s got potential to be a really exciting player for us!!

Maybe this coach knows how to correctly evaluate JUCO talent. Time will only tell.

That’s what I’m thinking too, Lakia Henry and savion Williams will be the ones to watch in this recruiting class for next year. We can’t sfford to bust on these guys like butch did. Emmet played with an edge yesterday too, he’s freaking fast to be 306 too!

Take away the long run for each RB and look at their averages. Jordan, 14 for 49 (3.5) Banks 12 for 47 (just under 4) and London 7 for 15 (2). Offensive line needs to improve. Removing the outliers, under 4 ypc vs ETSU.

What if you added a 50 yard run to each players stats? Know what, it doesn't matter because manipulating stats to make them look different doesn't change what the actual stats are. The long gains count just like the negative gains.

Statistically, if you remove the outliers on the top end of the Bell Curve then you have to remove the outliers on the bottom end also to remain significant data.

Only 1 stat counts........W's.

Like golf....., "I only hit 4/14 fairways and 9/18 greens....but I shot 70!" Only the score counts.

THE scary thing on this list to me are names you don't see like Tuttle, Taylor, Phillips, Bennett ... just sayin' that's a little scary.

A terror with the putter though, and the counts yugely.
correct....
better analogy.....I hit 13/14 fairways and 15/18 greens. 4 birdies and zero 3-putts.......but shot 80.

Something you won't see on the stats tho was Phillips had 2 tipped passes, he was around the ball a lot.

You gonna remove the 1yd rd runs for Banks. Shouldn't be penalized for hitting paydirt.
