i dont think we would have swayed 3 top recruits from rival schools and landed the #1 recruit in the nation if Kiffin hadnt been doing the things he had, to get our name out there.

BS. When was the last time Tennessee has been in the news this much? Probably '98. Plus, EVERY school needs free advertising. There is an edge to gain here. The team with the most publicity has the most potential to gain better recruits.

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. And I agree that we probably wouldn't have gotten 3 top 100 recruits after signing day without all this exposure.

Never looked at it as "The Art of War".....good point though....alot of what CLK is doing is similar to the ideas in that book....

He's making the gators and Oscar Meyer look stupid! He has taken shots at Saban(stole his recruiting coordinator two weeks before NSD) Spurrior ( stole his recruiting coordinator and joked about test scores) Miles ( took Yaw Yaw away from him and had Janzen commit after NSD) Urban Cryer and the mighty gators are the only team thats crying about it!!! Spurrior took a shot back and then went back to his business! Ali used to get his opponants so mad they would leave their gameplan, then they would get KTFO!! GO VOLS! KNOCK EM OUT!
